Bigger Screen Size - Android Mobile Phones

I have been looking at the newer Android phones and which screen size would be better?

HTC Desire S - 3.7 inch
HTC Sensation - 4.3 inch
HTC Sensation XL - 4.7 inch

What is the screen quality like on these phones, compared with a Galaxy S II?

I would be using the phone for the following.

Internet
Apps
Music
Email

Text would have be clear and easy to read, when emailing and texting.

Thanks in advance.

well 'better' depends on the individual. I find the Galaxy II's screen a decent size (4.5" I think) as it fits in my pocket without any problem, yet is still good for watching iplayer/youtube...

the size is mitigated against it being a very light and thin phone though.

All down to personal choice.

If you only really use APPS you can probably get by with a small screen.

I find the SGS2 at 4.3" to be just right. For me anything bigger just becomes a bit cumbersome when out and about using them.....But, at the end of the day, it's a personal choice...

I have the SGS2 now and changed over from the Dell streak which had a 5" screen, although I now prefer my SGS2 (as it fits in my pocket easier) surfing the web was so much easier and clearer on the larger screen, I never had to zoom in to read anything with my Dell and now seem to be adjusting and zooming more to click small icons/links etc on sites, not sure I would change back though to use it as a phone, I still use my Dell as a tablet in the house just can't seem to part with it.
