I really disliked his attempt to replay the Aaron/Faye relationship. I thought he deliberately tried to make them both feel very uncomfortable and obviously succeeded with Aaron. He overstepped the mark. Integrity is important to Aaron and to have that undermined by Tom was a step too far for me.”

He did go a bit far but I am sorry that Aaron over reacted. He should have risen above it IMO.

Well then you are not crediting him with much integrity. That is exactly the kind of man BB have been trying to portray him as being.

But he didnt. He was upset and angry about it. That to me says a lot about Aaron and his views on things. He doesnt like being ridiculed and his integrity called into question. It affected him badly when the Palmer clan nominated him, because it questioned his integrity. He got upset about the "fixed" nominations, because he was asked to go against what he believed it. That is the man.

No BB are trying to portray him as playing Faye. I don't believe he is. I believe she is playing him and he is behaving and he is simply feeling as any normal, single man would in his position.

IMO it does not show lack of integrity when a single man falls for the charms of an attractive young woman who has gone to great lengths to charm him especially in the abnormal situation they are in at the moment.

I shall happily agree to disagree with you.

He would have been better ignoring it, but he just went off to by himself a minute, he did not argue or fallout with Tom.

I think he was more mortified than anything.Things do get magnified and seem worse in the house. The use of words like pervert and implications about liking young girls went OTT though.
It was also very disrespectful to Maisie.Everyone else's parodies were funny but not vicious.T/L's parody was vicious.

I agree with you that Tom did go OTT and his actions were vicious obviously intended to hurt rather than amuse. But I still feel that it would have been good for Aaron to have risen above it and not fallen into the trap that Tom set. It was all too obvious that Tom was wanting that reaction from him.

Its blatantly obvious that in terms of Aaron and Faye that NEITHER is playing the other.

You only have to look at their faces to see how they feel about each, and thats in spite of every obstacle presented to them.

Thing is that those feelings may or may not survive outside but that doesn't mean its not real at this moment in time.

I just hope they last, get married and live happily ever after and stick two fingers up to channel 5, BB, Jem her mother and the rest of the doubters.

Unlikely, but we've all gotta dream!

They have also tried to portray him as the "house player". First Tom, then Maisie then Faye. I dont think for one minute you can say that "any normal single man in that position" would jump into bed with Faye, tell her he loves her, tell her he doesnt want to think about not waking up with her in a morning. Tell her she is perfect, beautiful etc. etc. I can accept "any normal single man" might be in it for the odd snog now and then, but not to share his feelings the way he has. He would be making a complete fool of himself and I give Aaron credit for being far more intelligent than to do that on TV.

I could understand it if you were saying that he is only doing it because it is part of a very clever game plan, but how you can think that all of his talk of feelings and showing of affection towards Faye is just because she has pursued him is beyond me.

Perhaps some of the male members of this thread could comment on this.

I see your opinion is still being challenged. The BIB is my point all along, it is not if Aaron likes Faye or not. I believe this is the most damaging remark made about a BB housemate saying they are a "user" and if Faye was not in the house he could no longer be protrayed on the HLs as doing so.

I agree and that's why Jay was commending him on his work for the last two nights. He is deliberately winding Aaron up.
You have to keep your head in BB and your emotions in check, though it is very hard in the house.

I think Tom is actually trying to get Aaron to blow up though and while he was upset, he remained calm enough.I don't think Jay would have handled what Aaron has handled in that house.
I do agree though better to laugh along and not give the little runt the satisfaction. Then say at the end , very funny Tom, well done.

A question, why are others being told not to bring up Faye in this thread while you and others constantly do that very thing?.

Not forgetting that she was the one jumping into his bed, constantly, every night. It is only recently that we have seen him go to her bed, once if I remember correctly, and that was during the day.

Everyone who has ever been in the BB house has said that one's emotions are heightened in that abnormal environment.

I think that now after several weeks of her pursuing him and telling him how she was falling for him, he feels that he loves her, and in that environment he doesnt want to think about not waking up with her in the morning. I am of the firm belief that once out of the house he will realise his feelings for what they were, and the "romance" will not last.

Actually have a read back before you accuse me of that. I was away from the thread for a while and came back to pretty much the same story. People who do not like the relationship were told to watch clips etc. so I think I am entitled to my say also.

I'm gay, but most definitely won't be voting for Tom. He's got a nasty tongue on him, that one has!

my point to watch the clip was in response to the accusation that faye is playing aaron, the clip in my opinion is evidence that this just isnt true and the feelings on both their parts are real.

I really don't mind at all. Each viewer sees things differently. I remember how the "relationship started", who instigated it and knowing which HM needed a storyline, I based my opinion on that. Nothing that I have seen to date has convinced me otherwise. And I go by what I see not by what I think each are feeling.

I've just been catching up on last nights Bots (thank goodness for sky+, I can fast forward the crap, which by the way doesn't leave a lot left ) and have just caught the clip of Aaron leaping out of bed to dance.

I don't quite know how to phrase the next bit, but I believe I heard he's an Oasis fan, only there's quite a bit of one of their songs going on . No wonder he reached for his infamous jammie bottoms.

By the way, he has washed them a number of times I've seen them drying on the back of sun loungers and in the sauna. I'll just go and sit back in the corner now, lol.
