What are your favourite exits in Coronation Street and Emmerdale?

My favourite Corrie Exit was Don Brennan's spectacular crash into the viaduct at the end of the Street. Also Alan Bradly's exit in Blackpool was cool too. Richard Hillman's was alrite but they've done better.

Butch Dingle in Emmerdale, I bawled like a baby during that one.

Spencer Moon ... oh no wait, that's just wishful thinking. I can't remember people's exits besides Richard Hillman's. I'm sure I'll remember them when other people say them, but my mind's gone.....what's the word?...oh yeah, Blank.

Emmerdale's Rachel had a good exist, getting chucked off a cliff.

sORRY Gotta mention EE.
Tiffany hitting the pavement.
It was so ubrupt and upsetting particularly since she was about to depart gloomy Walford for sunny Spain with her little girl.
And the shot of her dead open eye... CREEPY!!!

No, she was at one time married to Chris Tate and the mother of Joseph Tate.

Yeh I choked on tears at Tiff's exit, I loved her and wanted her to escape that swine Grant!"

Alan Bradley under the tram at Blackpool.
Elsie Tanner in the famous black cab. The last words being in response to the taxi driver asking how long she'll be gone for "Ah, now there's a question".
And Hilda Ogden of course "Wish me luck as you wave me goodbye".

There are so many soap exits that I like, but here are my favourites:

EastEnders:

Tiffany getting run over - so sad but brilliant drama.
Bianca - really sad I thought, when she went off on the train and they played that really sad backing music instead of the dramatic drum beat.
Steve - I was a bit disappointed that Phil didn't rescue him but a great exit nonetheless.
Matthew - I liked the way he got the upper hand over Steve.
Lisa - glad that she finally got Louise.
Arthur - another sad one but very moving.
Jamie - just plain sad.

Emmerdale:

Butch - a real tear jerker.
Batley - as above.
Rachel - very dramatic exit.

Corrie:

Richard Hillman - speaks for itself.
Alison - quite a sad one.
Todd - don't get me wrong, I definitely didn't want Todd to leave but I think he had a good exit.

I would say from EE: Tiffany, Steve and Arthur, and from Corrie, Richard Hillman.

Looking back on things, Tricia Dingle got a brilliant exit, all i can say is "whats she gonna look like with a chimney on her" - i think Tricia's exit answered that aged old question.

Judy Mallett in Corrie - really, really sad. she was such a great character (great family in fact). She lay dying in the back yard as everyone else was at a wedding party I think.

Alma's death was pretty sad too.

Butch Dingle definitley wins it for Emmerdale.
