Well the girlfriends screen has gone all dodgy on her old wildfire, it's her birthday soon and I said id get her a new phone however im torn between the wildfire S (cos im a android lover) and the HTC 7 Mozart.

Ive heard the battery on the wildfire S is worse than the original wildfire and im on a budget of £200 and think the Mozart although it's windows is nicer. Tips, advice and opinions please

My son has the Wildfire and my OH has the Mozart, both are nice wee phones although I personally prefer the Windows phone, especially since the Mango update it has just become much sleeker, more responsive, the live tiles are fun and there are good quality apps in the marketplace but if your an Android fan the Wildfire S is a nice little phone. OH gets 1.5-2.5 days battery life and my son gets a bit longer so much the same there really.

As an alternative if you can get Samsung Omnia 7 (Windows Phone 7) cheap, it's a nice phone. I went off HTC designs lately.

Ivan, have the Omnia's got the Mango update yet? I know some people were giving off about not receiving yet?

I forced it on mine. I bought it cheap a few weeks ago and I could only get the first copy-paste update regularly.

I forced my HD7 too, the OH just waited for the update which only appeared 2 weeks ago.
