Turnout to be an absolute joke!

Is it just me or do you guys also hate the fact that these chosen apprentices picked from thousands to be the best of the best always turn out to be so disappointing? Dozens of gcse's yet cant do simple maths, full of confidence, yet fall apart and deliver pathetic pitches, allegedly intelligent yet always proven the opposite?

I hate these people who posses only a good memory which has allowed them to just cram at exams instead of gaining knowledge and an understanding of the subject they studied!

Makes me so mad!

Oi! I resemble that remark!

I'm not sure that exam qualifications have particularly been used to decide who got on the program - demonstrating that you have set up a business (or three!) will have counted for far more.

I think nerves and being waaay out of their comfort zone would probably account for much of the numptyness we're seeing - they are only young after all!

i do get your point but saying 3x4 is 28 is not down to nerves i think to run a business you do need to know some maths

.
So they picked the best out of all the applicants, which begs the question as to just how bad were the ones not picked....the mind boggles.

They aren't the best, they are a mixed bunch from different backgrounds who were put together to make the most entertaining program.

Exactly, It's an entertainment program. Maybe the first series of the apprentice did try to pick people who would be good at the job, but today they've given up even pretending there's a job at the end of it and the Junior version is no different.

What gets my goat is the people on shipwrecked who seem to have been chosen without thought to their survival skills

Believe me, if they'd picked the actual best, this programme would be as dull as dishwater.

The applicants are not chosen for their successes.
