The judging this year has been the worst so far.
Aleeesha constantly overmarks and her comments show she's more interested in the personality rather than the performance.
Bruno is well OTT with his campness and seems to be trying to be part of the show rather than a judge.
Len is well past it.
Craig is the only one to mark fairly but even so he seems bored most of the time.
I think it is time for a new panel of judges to improve the show.

I've never been a Bruno fan but in the past he's been tolerable...this year his histronics and over the top carry on just infuriates me. He is such a show off, the mute button is in overdrive in our house when he and unfunny Bruce start on one. So yes, I would love to see new judges brought in.

Got to agree. I'd like Bruno a lot more if he'd stop with the hysteria, he does speak sense, and Brucie gets muted more often than not in our house too.

I like the idea of Ian being a judge.

Its getting the biggest ratings of it's entire run.........the judges are just fine !!!!!! Leave it alone....

quick look over to x-factor and take a look at how changing the judges altered it's fortunes.

I would advise anyone who goes to SCD to start a "GET LEN OUT! GET LEN OUT! GET LEN OUT! GET LEN OUT!" chant so we can get the message clear that he's past his best. Mark Thompson and Mark Linsey need to listen.

I think the best part of the programme can be the competition between the three male judges, as to who can make the biggest fool of themselves each week. Though it does get a bit tiresome on occasions.

Nah, that would be a boring line up. It's not a dancing competition you know The judges need to entertain as well as I guess the current panel, like 'em or loathe 'em, do with their various quirks, foibles and inconsistencies

It's risky as the show is doing so well and I wouldn't like Craig to go.

I'd get rid of Len, he's just awful.

The nastiness I have read on these forums since Alesha first got the job is poisonous in the extreme - she is fantastic I think.

I wondered if the suggestion of the four "dance focused" judges was dirty tricky by Simon Cowell to get his ratings back up. None of them have much personality except Craig and he tends to play the same part all the time.

All four have different qualities. Craig is very keen on marking down for technical aspects. Len tends to be moody and usually gives a 7 unless Craig goes lower than he thinks justified when he will give a 8. Alesha marks on her opinion of the performance without being too critical of the technical aspects and Bruno is the comic turn. It all balances out.

Only Len needs replacing, Ian Waite would be good

As much as I like Karen and look forward to watch Choreography corner every tuesday I dont want her on that panel.

Apparently he's worst in the US version, atleast the previous one's I've seen, haven't watched it this year to say if he's worst or calmer

Nope.

They're as much part of the show as Dave Arch, the stage crew, the Spinning Foot-chopping cameraman and the public vote.

Judges fine.
Dancing (mostly) fine.
Production fine
...................except for those ghaaaarstly VTs, darling.

Claudia would take up so much time brilliantly faffing around that there would be no need for VTs or presenters on the show.

But which Jill? If 1/2 penny, she's only known for one dance!

I love Alesha but I wouldn't worry too much if she went, just cos whenever she scores "too high", I just know that I'm going to have to wade through all the poison remarks all over the forum.
I could really do without Bruno who seems to have become a caricature of himself, too over the top and a bit of a letch.
As for Len, I really would like to see the back of him. He's so arrogant in his belief that he is always right, and nobody else's opinion is valid. He is downright rude to Craig, and whenever he's being critical (usually when he's scolding the pros) he has a face like a bulldog chewing a wasp.

Edit : Changed my mind. I would hate for Alesha to go. I really like her on the panel, and if she scores higher than the others, sometimes perhaps to compensate for the others, let's face it she learnt that from Len!

Craig, Ian, Karen and Alesha can stay if her 10 and 9 paddles are taken away.

I think Alesha should go and be replaced by Karen or Camilla.

I like the others.

As long as they kept Craig in and chucked Len out I don't care who makes up the rest of the panel.
