Len, Bruno and Craig are all terrific and utterly irreplaceable.

But I'd swap Alesha for Karen Hardy. I'd keep Alesha on the show, but in some other role.

It would be great to change a couple of the judges, my vote goes to Alesha and Len, but you would need a ballroom specialist.

I liked Donnie Burns when he was on DWTS, and he knows his stuff.....although presumably he's too busy in the States.

What about a "girl" guest judge......then you could have both Karen and Camilla doing a stint, although I'd vote for Lilia

forgot to say, what did everyone think of Adam Garcia on the red button?

I thought he was terrific....and discovered he's a bit of a tap dancer himself

Len is the worst for me, i personally would replace him with someone younger with a ballroom background

Then if either Alesha or Bruno went i would like a guest judge of the week from the pro dancers either ones from previous series or ones that are ousted from the current series

As for Craig he scores fairly in general and his comments are correct in the main just sometimes he could make them politer and more constructive but every panto needs its baddie

As long as Bruce goes when they make any changes ruins my entire show have to mute or ffwd

I'd keep Craig and Bruno. I'd throw Alesha and Len out. Replace them both with people from a dancing background (and I do not mean a former contestant or winner!!)

Karen would be nice but I'd miss choreography corner as I assume if she was made a judge we'd lose that.

I'd probably choose two ex pros from the show. Not too fussed which two. Anyone but Len and Awful Alesha!

I thought Adam Garcia was mainly famous for being a dancer that can act a bit, shows what I know

I'd keep Craig and Bruno.

I'd replace Len with any of Karen Hardy, Shirley Ballas or Lilia Kopylova, who was a judge on the Turkish version of the show last year.

I'd actually keep Alesha because when a contestant receives very harsh criticism from Craig, her "well done for giving it your best" can be important for the contestant's morale.

Would Craig have to dress up in a frock to fit in?”

Yes, because she danced in series 2, when things weren't blown out of proportion and the judge were much more critical and fair. After Kara Jill is the best dancer this show has seen.

Anyway, the judges are fine. Len needs changing, but that's never going to happen. He's like the fake skeleton in the corner of science class. It's old, cranky and broken, but is always going to remain there to remind us that this is a science class! If you want a change in the panel you'll have to wait until Alesha hits 35. They're bound to change her for a pretty young thing then.

I think Shirley is too busy pulling at every string to make sure her boyfriend wins the world championships

Perhaps, but that doesn't stop me dreaming

Yes, it would raise the standard of the show and force the pros to up their games. I mean imagine her reaction to contestant spending half her routine flying around the dance floor! And non of the pros would dare to disagree with her or question her credibility.

But sadly I think this is one dream we will never have realised!

I personally would feel very intimidated if she were allowed to voice her opinions of me as a dancer on national TV!

I would love to keep our four lovely judges. They are a team. They bounce off one another. My only thought is that they mark too high too early. But what do I know really. I really am happy with the way things are.

Would be so cross if anyone were to get rid of any one of them

I would say instead of changing the judges we should see a change in the judging system

what I mean is:

the actual points scored don't matter because it is ultimately the ranking that matters in the end ie first place gets the same number of points whether they scored 30/40 or 40/40.

So, instead of the judges giving a mark out of ten they should rank the dancer relative to the rest. So, if Len thought Chelsee was best she would get a 1, then the next best would get a 2 and so on. You you then add the 4 totals for each dancer given bu each judge to generate your judges leader board.

What this would mean is the judges marking each dancer relatively and would avoid the terrible sight of Russell getting 6 from Len and Harry getting a 7 (for example).

Just my two penneth

ps this is in effect how Ice Dance is scored in international competition - by rank

All that is needed is for Len to stop jetting off to the States every week. Whist Bruno is able to cope, Len is obviously finding it all too much which is why he is having a week off.

Please NO Karen on the panel and only ever ONE B&L Judge. Any more than that & it would be a dire Come Dancing.

This would be my option:

Craig
Nicole Cutler
Alesha
Bruno

Nicole is a former pro and her blog each week is excellent reading - lots of detail (as opposed to Camilla's which does seem to be a little biased).

Alesha kept on as she is more of a performance judge.

Think the scale would go something like this:

Alesha >>>>>Bruno>>>>> Nicole >>>> Craig

(in terms of criticising on performance rather than technicality)

I'm sure you will provide mountains of objective evidence for this blanket assertion.

Firstly:

Except when she doesn't. For example, last week she marked from 3 to 10. Which, interestingly, is as wide a range as Craig gave (2 to 9).

In Week 4, she gave precisely the same overall marks as Len. (the same mark as Len on 6 occasions, 1 point lower on 3 occasions, 1 point higher on three occasions).

So I await, agog, your evidence of "constantly overmarking". Or perhaps your numbers mean different things to those numbers used by, well, people?

Firstly, that's her role. She's the "celeb's champion".

Secondly, except when she comments on the performance. Which is a lot of the time.

Thirdly, Len always does that as well.

I would comment on your other critiques, but I suspect that they're likely to be equally valid.

I didn't realise that! Had to google Shirley and boyfriend and put in candidate names (well actually it was the first one I put in . But they have broken up according the articles I found)

Completely Agree.

Getting rid of the judges and replacing them with Ian Waite, Darren Bennett etc is the most ludicrous thing I keep hearing on this site.

Len, Bruno and Craig are fabulous judges. The only judge that needs axing is Alesha Dixon. Replace her with Karen and the show would be superb!!!

Yup, totally agree, Dixon should not be there, she adds absolutely nothing

not sure I want Karen on the panel though

I say Karen because she is on ITT every week and does give good criticism towards each dance,.

Surely Alesha is now far too old for the BBC?

Time to replace her with a younger model?

SSSSUSSHSHH!! Alicey.

Don't say that. As much as I dislike Alesha the BBC might be watching and replace her with KATIE PRICE!

On second thought. Katie is too old.

Maybe Amy Childs then BBC?!?!?!
