I don't think the current judges are perfect but they're familiar and, as someone said, they bounce off each other (sometimes literally in the case of Bruno/Alesha) - and their imperfections give a large number of people on the forum something to bitch about, which is always important.

I would prefer a bit more consistency with application of the rules (lifts, breaks in hold etc), but I suspect that's as much down to the direction the overall show is steered in as it is the judges themselves. So I doubt the inclusion of a Karen, Ian etc would necessarily change that.

I suspect it will depend on who retires first, Len or Brucey, as to whether Anton first steps in as a judge or as the presenter...

I really hope it's a presenter as I've heard his red button commentary on the Mattesha ccc and Mavia salsa and he fails to understand just how good they both are. Not only can he not chereograph latin he can't judge it either.

Personally I'd ditch Alesha who is annodyne and a chronic over-marker and Len who is often grumpy, inconsistent and more interesting in playing to the gallery and arguing with Craig for the sake of it than marking fairly. I'd bring in Karen and either Ian or Nicole to replace them and if Anton become a presenter - Erin wouldn't be a bad choice either.

I argee we need more consistency with the rules as well though.
