Does anyone know if the remotes of these two interfere with each other?

I do know it is possible for both those remotes to be set to one of several settings so that for example multiple HDR's can be used in the same room each controlled only by it's own remote.

This is how my Remotes are programmed, because I too have both boxes in the same room

The HD FOX T2 records Freeview to a usb connected drive. Mine has a 1TB recording drive attached.

Have bought the HD FOX T2 to replace the Digihome PVR80 which died last week. I find the the Media player abilities of it are much better than the FOXSAT HDR but the interface isn't quite as nice. But the ability to stream content to it from other devices is great. I've installed a 320mb drive on it at the moment for recording as we only really use it when there are clashes on our one LNB Foxsat.

Did you know you can record one of the HD channels on the HD FOX T2 and watch one of the other HD ones at the same time.? After the recording finishes you can even back up the timeshift buffer on the one you are viewing and record that as well.

No I didn't but I tend not to record a lot in HD fills the HD up to much! I do have a 1TB drive on order which should give me a bit more room. I also have a NSLU2 which has been "unslung" and runs Linux ,that was originally a print server for a HP1020 laser printer, I've installed Twonky media on that now and so can stream media from that to the FOX T2.

Same applies to any two SD channels that are on the same multiplex.

Are you sure ? Mine (on ver 1.02.20 ) puts up a message warning that TSR will be terminated and recording will start from live.

Off to check now.

You are correct, you can use time shift during the recording, when you stop the background recording you lose the buffer so can only record from real time. I didn't get a warning though I had the buffer behind real time and pressed the record button. Electing to stop the existing recording simply takes you back to real time on the viewed channel and no buffered content. Shame it would seem at first sight a capability that should be easy to implement.

And while they are doing that they could give us dual recording (off the same mux, obviously). Humax please note!
