And here's the press release about the presenter announcement on The Voice.

Death in Paradise should be good for another series and ought to be recommissioned. It's going to end up with a consolidated series average of about 5.5-6.0m, higher than nearly all other new BBC1 drama series this year, despite facing the toughest competition out of the lot. I imagine it's quite a repeatable-friendly drama too, so if BBC1 rerun a few episodes sometime next year, it could introduce some new viewers to the show. And then if they schedule series 2 next Autumn one month earlier, so it avoids the likes of IAC, its audience could be even bigger next time.
There seem to be a lot of co-production references in the end credits so I assume there is some external cash in there as well which must make it a more attractive proposition for recommission, but I guess that also means seeing how well it goes down in France.

Oh dear it was all looking so good for The Voice. Reggie Yates is no way good enough and also irritating. Bit sad for Fearne Cotton given her two friends and co-hosts have got it over her.

I did think someone from Radio 1 would be involved, but I was thinking more Fearne Cotton or Greg James.

So a bit surprising. Let's not write them or the show off just yet though, eh?

Terrible choice, no doubt about it, looking more like a flop by the second.

Holly I think is a great choice. Hopefully she'll be main presenter with Reggie's role fairly small. Reading the press release I thin that's how it'll be - Holly has been given more prominence. In america dont they have pne main presenter and a 'social media correspondent'? Reggie is very bland though.

Indeed.
HBO & Cinemax might have different programmes as channels, but they are still the same comppany. The same way Disney & Miramax were when part of the same company.
For people that keep incorrectly saying HBO & Cinemax are separate companies. They're not. HBO & Cinemax are the same company!!
Do I really have to explain to you the concept of group companies? Your example is also factually wrong Miramax and Disney were seperate companies within a group.

Cinemax is not branded HBO Cinemax which is the main issue here, the only place it has been is in Sky press releases picked up by the media.

Here is the press release from Cinemax for the next series of Strike Back?

Where does it refer to itself as HBO CINEMAX which Sky and Derek try to spin it as??

HBO own Cinemax. That's why it's called HBO Cinemax in the article.
Going by that standard, Richard Desmond's porn channels can be rebranded. 'Five Red Hot TV', 'Five Viewers Wives' as they are part of the same group company.

Here's Jake's post from August.
So BBC1 are now partnering with a 3rd rate porn broadcaster, who even the Guardian call HBO's Cinemax.
It was a joke but it obviously hit a nerve!
Anybody who saw Strike/Back recently, the reputation for 3rd rate porn continues.
who even the Guardian call HBO's Cinemax.
Yes and why do they do that? which press office has been spinning that misinformation!
And Kary Antholis who commissioned Strike Back for Cinemax is President, HBO Mini Series.
Because corporate Headquarters has sent a supervisor, then that obviously makes the channel a HBO one

Someone should alert Cinemax press office that they've got a new name! Not once do they refer to themselves as HBO CINEMAX.

Ouch!
Cinemax are nicknamed Skin-e-max for a reason! If anybody saw the recent series of Strike Back they'd see proof!

C5 must be licking their lips after last night's Champs League results. What an end to the contract that would be!
