Yeah, its pleasing to see. Expect a hefty drop tonight though opposite Frozen Planet.

The Daily Star also printed 10pm as the start time when it is actually 9pm. The Mirror carried the correct 5 schedule. Haven't seen The Sun or any other paper yet.

Jeez, appalling line-up. Can't see anyone being a big ratings pull other than Dougie Poynter, who still has lots of fans. Last year had quite a few big draws.

Er off The Real Hustle, yes? If so, I might just pay attention this year!

some names I have a feeling I know, but no one I know for sure, As per usual the show wont be worth my time, which would be better spent watching The Real Housewives of *insert US city* on Viva.

Well its safe to say for the third year running I see no need to watch a single second of i'm a Celeb, what a load of showers that lot is.

Interesting I'm A Celeb line up. Going for Mark Wright is probably a good choice as he's very popular with the young viewers & Amy Childs worked well on CBB.

Also surprising Corrie have given their character with the most appearences this year time off to do this-I've never known Corrie or any other soap give a star who is currently in a contract time off.

Looking forward to seeing Lorraine Chase who should be promising.

I don't watch IAC but the line up seems REALLY old. Only one female under 50

Per Charles Sale:

"The FA's long drawn-out negotiations with ITV over the renewal of their cut-price FA Cup and England rights deal are expected to be finally completed this week.

The two-year extension of the contract will see ITV add the season curtain-raiser Community Shield to their coverage but the FA will receive only around £80million compared to the current four-year agreement that is worth £290m."

Absolutely fantastic deal for ITV if they get it at that price. Saving of over 40% on current price.

We can never be sure but if reports are correct this would be the same price (£40m per year) that BBC will pay for Six Nations and Wimbledon (each).

Seems extraordinary value for ITV - this will generate far, far more person viewing hours than the Six Nations.

Amazing that nobody else is interested at that price.

I did try to read that, but all I saw was pictures of this Jessica bird.

having had a second try, it still does not say who the other people are.

mlt11 good for ITV I guess. Anyways I parked in the Peterborough United Stadium today, apparently its not a public car park, and I shouldn't have done that, is that right?

It says that she's the only female under 50.

That's an awful line up for IAC.

I was managing a flight to LA few years back and Stephanie Powers was on it. She was very hard work, needed constant attention.

Wanted to speak to the captain as she felt the 'air' was too dry, she wore a mask over her nose and mouth, like a medical one, to help keep the dry air out

If she can't handle being a passenger in first class, I don;t know how she'll handle it out there. ($$$$$$ I suppose)

There's really no one in that line up that inspires me to watch.

Can't stand Anthony Cotton, i'll be giving it a miss. No doubt he'll be ITVs favourite, just like the soap star to pop star rubbish he won few years back, which then transpired that there'd been a mistake and he should have been out long before the final.

A pretty dire line up and the same two 'hilarious' hosts make IAC less watchable than ever. My 9.2m prediction for the launch show looks about right. No need really to watch it this series - very formulaic. I don't see the ratings below from last year being bettered.

(Overnights including HD)

14/11/10 Launch Show - 11.23m
15/11/10 Show 2 - 9.35m
16/11/10 Show 3 - 8.61m
18/11/10 Show 4 - 8.68m
19/11/10 Show 5 - 6.04m (hammered by Children in Need)
20/11/10 Show 6 - 9.17m

(Average for opening week 8.85m - let us see how much this drops in 2011.)

"I'm a Celebrity, Get Me My Incontinence Knickers..."

Surprised GeorgeS hasn't commented more on this. He usually takes great interest in the age of female contestants on SCD, making gags about hip replacements and nursing homes.

So the distinctly OAP nature of the cast-list for IAC (and not just the women) would, I thought, have been of particular interest to him....

As I've said before, it would be hilarious if the BBC and Sky came in with a late bid and the FA (as in the past) failed to go back and invite a better counter-bid.

But as the Beeb is more interested in investing huge sums of money in a likely flop singing contest than securing what remains of their top class sporting coverage portfolio, in which they excel above all others, then it would be a major turn-up if they did...

casting is about getting interaction. Look at Big Brother (actually don't!) but a bunch of 20 somethings with zero charisma and life experience, good tv does not maketh.

Big Brother's your answer to everything, isn't it?

Horrible IAC casting. Normally they get one or two big names but not this year it seems. I wish I could lower my ratings prediction now as there's no chance of my 10.7m punt being even remotely close.
