I think somebody mentioned the word that I was searching for "Pleasant", but that's it.
She also covers this which I have heard. A very personal song partly about his friend who commited suicide. James Taylor- Fire and Rain http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JOIo4lEpsPY |

Was it you who said earlier that Birdy's cover of this song wasn't exactly very good because I can't find it anywhere. Got a link? |

We've had all this before and it's pointless (and I admit i foolishly got involved
). It's all about opinions at the end of the day, no-one's going to convince anyone to change their minds. People who prefer Birdy's are going to carry on doing so and people who prefer the original aren't going to be swayed either. I think maybe the only thing we can agree on is when Justin gets his royalty cheque he won't be too displeased ![]() ![]() [Team Justin] |

The last thing the world needs is more dull, pointless cover versions by artists trading on the talent of others. Why is she trying to launch a music career so young anyway. She'd have been better waiting until she'd wriiten songs of her own and then maybe she would have been taken seriously.

Does she sing original songs?
WITH HER SECOND ALBUM SHE HAS SAID SHE WILL BE ALLOWED TO WRITE HER OWN SONGS (IT'S HER MANAGEMENT DOING A GIMMICKY DEBUT ALBUM WITH COVERS) So basically she does write her own songs but that's for after her debut |

You can hear that the voice has been double tracked.
Generic, dull and boring I am afraid. Not into ballads. |

Considering most music these days is dance/electro which is very generic, i fail to see how Birdy can be labelled as Generic.
