So is Vincent!

I thought Matt was excellent last night and if anyone was shown up it was James- the others can obviously, and have obviously, more experience in other genres than him and it showed.

Pasha is a SYTYCD All Star now and is clearly showing its a good show (well the American one is outstanding) for new talent.

I think Matt would be a brillian partner too SCD-O- I think he would really bring the best out of his partner which he did in SYTYCD this year.

Him being short is not bad, I should think... There are not many short dancers in the competition, and it might be good to have another one, for the shorter female celebs. And that will also mean fab jives!

I can see Matt doing well with dances like Charleston because his 'Broadway' with Charlotte was my all-time fav with a lot of Charleston influence in it. In SYTYCD, he also attempted rumba, and though he apparently did it the first time, he managed to do the rumba walks very well. His second foxtrot attempt in the finals was amazing. And he could do jitterbug, which, together with his Charleston-inspired Broadway number, seem to imply he'll cope really well with mastering the techniques of doing a good jive.

But he's NOT trained in ballroom like Pasha, Artem or Robin did (referring to the new male pros), so it might show him up.

That said, he's an EXCELLENT choreographer and has a very pleasant personality and will be a good mentor. He looked like one when paired with Charlotte. They matched each other so well when they were finally 'split' in the show, Charlotte rapidly went off the rail and was voted off by the judges. Just goes to show how Matt can enhance his partner.

Not sure how he'll cope with duffers though, I mean, if he's matched with the likes of Lulu or Nancy, he might suffer as a result.

In any case, Anton is looking really out of place in SCD now and if they want to try some new ENGLISH male pro, Matt Flint should be considered, but give him one year to brush up on the ballroom techniques.
