Kitty Brucknell 'apologises for The Risk Derry race remark'

Well there you go - yes it's the sun

"In her letter she said how sorry she was and that due to lack of sleep she might have said something offensive — but wasn't sure because she was so tired."

Did she not deny everything yesterday? A bit of a pathetic excuse though.

Well it's done now, they've apologized, they were friends before they'll be friends again. Over.

Please do let us know when you're back in the real world.

Hmm, so you think it's that simple. If someone uses the colour of your skin to insult you, you'd just simply brush it off?
I think if that happens to anyone, they would always believe the person who insulted them is in fact racist, in spite of the apology. You'd always be thinking 'Hmm, not sure about you'.

Yeah, that's the real heart of the matter isn't it? Derry "believes" Kitty might have said something, and Kitty admits to being unsure "if" she said anything. But don't let simple little things like "facts" get in the way of biased presumption!

So all those that said it was rubbish will obviously be eating humble pie now.

Strange how she cannot remember exactly what she said, but it might of been offensive.

Cover up once again.

There's a difference between calling someone black (even if it was wrong) and being racist. They were clearly friends before and if she had a problem with black people I doubt she would've let that happen...

And don't let bias get in the way of facts.

I'm pretty certain if I used a racist epithet to insult one of my black friends we wouldn't be friends anymore ...

My question is, what would make a non racist person let an insult involving race, trip off the tongue so nonchalantly?

Give it try and find out, I'd imagine it would change from person to person.

It just happens. Most people have done it no matter what they say.

No doubt about it! One of my best mates is black but if I insulted him racially I'd probably get a punch in the face and we wouldn't speak again!

Most people? Are you serious? Yeah, people with an underlying element of racism in their character.

Read the whole article. It's the usual "a source revealed..." nonsense.

Could be 100% true, but this sure as hell doesn't prove it.

What's that I can smell? Is it BS or is it a troll?

Kitty's twitter. Doesn't look like she's admitting anything to me, quite the opposite. This trial by media is shameful, regardless of which contestant it's over.

Neither.

But think what you want to think, it doesn't bother me at all.

Well. well, well Kitty seems to be back peddling. What a turn around from the other day when some where swearing up and down it was all made up lies.

Why not you didnt let the lack of facts get in your way of slagging Misha down did you.

So dont start preaching about lack facts to us when you did the very same thing

That apology confirms that Kitty made a racist comment.

Yet some FM are still willing to overlook this.

Misha has lynched on here by some FM for bullying contestants even before her interview came out.

Double standards is all I can say.

And delving beneath the reason for the double standards is the most shocking of all!!

Why don't you debate instead of insulting another forum member?
