My niece and her husband are looking to get a dog for thier chidren aged 6 and 3, before they got married Matt had an Alsation but when they married and had children they were worried for the childrens safety so Matts sister took the dog. They would love a smallish dog, they have a big garden and live in the country so it will be perfect for the children to have a pet.

Cavalier Kings Charles Spaniel, Golden Retrievers are big but sooooooo soft they're adorable. I had 2 Tibetan Spaniels over a 26 year period - they were gorgeous. They need to feel secure in the breeder they choose, a good breeder will breed contented dogs. The Kennel Club is always a good place to ask advice - they need a breed thats good with children

I was reading on another thread who were discussing what happened re last nights comments on bbots, that they believed what happened between John and Josie in the house was real and John did love her but when they got out he found out she was a different Josie to the one in the house. What do you think I cant see that she was/is any different really.

Just to say that I love JJJLovers poems. Do they give me hope? No. Do they make me smile and wonder what if? Yes. Do i think she teases us. Yes but its all fun. I have never once seen Lover state this is going to happen ot that is going to happen. Well not since her toes got chopped off anyway.

Whats got the muckers and Loys so rabid on twitter? They really are childish. Mebbes its me but really how can you be bothered to tweet hate to people you dont know and never will? What exactly have either set done to each other? John and Josie and how they handled themselves is none of our personal business and while i loved them together and like them both apart, they do not cause such feelings of hate towards others. I find it strange and these people really need to think about what is missing in their lives that they need to act like 6 year olds on a public forum. To use a word I hate it makes me CRINGE. Mind u more and more I am laughing at both sets of idiots.

I agree with you lovers poems are great and as you say she is not saying this is going to happen, her poems keep some people going and they get the thread moving.

Hi judy I think they both thought each other different on the outside . In fairness to Josie she was straight with John in the house she told him about her drinking and her temper and her past, so he definitely knew what her bad points were.

Not really sure what is happening on twitter - I have seen a few comments from people but don't know what started it all - think I am glad that I don't

I dont know if they changed at all but when you think of their arguments in the house imo all but one were caused by John overstepping the mark on name calling or going on a bit but God Josie made a huge deal out of them. All this dont talk to me again, not talking, we're over were all designed as maximum punishment. John would apologise profusely and Josie miled it for all they were worth by with holding forgiveness and refusing to make up until John was literally near breaking point. I imagine this is how she reacted to arguements in the flat and I imagine that this would have taken its toll on John, hence his comment that he didnt feel secure here. Its not the maturest way to handle arguments.I also think Josie could have mood swings(dont we all) when she was tired eg the argument over Laura, that came out of nowhere. Imagine if these arguments kept cropping up in the flat, John might have felt he was walking on egg shells.
BUT
I also think it would have been exhausting for Josie living with John and his need to be right and his need to have the last word.
Obviously they knew they had these traits in the BB house but they had no escape and they did get resolved eventually. In the months after BB did they get the time to resolve arguments or did it all just become too exhausting to continue and ultimately less important for John to basically beg for forgiveness and prove his love again and again and that is why he left?

I wrote that post.

She was bound to be different in real life, because real life is nothing like the BB house. John said he didn’t like several things she did, drinking being one of them, in the BB house alcohol is limited and controlled so she couldn’t get into the state where she was waking him up and jumping on his bed or whatever it was she did in real life when she had been drinking.

John said he was happiest in the BB house and I think that is what he thought their relationship would be like in the real world, it was not the same relationship and therefore she wasn‘t the girl for him. I don’t want to go into this too deeply as it’s been done millions of times now and what I wrote was in response to what was said on last night BOTS.
