This beats a referendum on leaving the Eurozone any time.

There's a correct time to do this in dance, but I do kinda think its been overdone by SCD now.

I don't mind it being done ... I don't find it attractive though! ... I could also do without the lifts that seem soley designed to show off the wardrobe department's gusset making skills ... especially since none of the gussets are anything special! ... there are ooodles of lifts out there that are very attractive & fit well into a dance the Gusset shot ones are not among them!

Famous Michael Jackson move to a famous Michael Jackson song.

Check out youtube for numerous kids dancing along to MJ songs performing all the moves he did!

The point I have tried to make is that he did it so many times that it constitutes "faffing about" in my view. He probably only danced about half the amount he should have done.

I voted not ok for this poll. I don't really give a damn about the watershed part of it, (I have 2 boys aged 7 & 10 and I hardly think it's going to corrupt them) I just don't think anyone should do it at any time. It's just a REALLY ugly move!

IMO.

I've stayed out of the original thread because I'm really about the hoohaa, to be honest. Is someone really trying to claim that Robbie Savage grabbing his crotch is corrupting the children of today? Really?

In what way is it any different from Emma Bunton's signature tittarubba move?

Kids don't see the sexual element of it, they think it's hilarious, it may be ugly but then so was much of Ann Widdecombe's "dancing" last year and I don't remember outrage about young kids.

So I voted ok, I don't see any difference between that and half the moves Ola does with her celebs - the Andrew Castle headbang, half of Kenny's dancing, the constant pole dancing around her celebs.

I'm with both of you. The crotch grabbing/thrusting didn't bother me, infact it quite amused me. I was also unworried about the fact that my 8 year old was watching. I would have liked to see Ola choreograph more Paso content though.

Noting wrong with it at all, I would much rather watch Robbie clutching his bits than Widdecombe's grotesque gallumping last year!

Voted Neutral.

Robbie did it because he was doing a Michael Jackson inspired routine and so it was a legitimate part of the choreography IMO. If people start grabbing their crotch for no apparant reason then it's not ok IMO.

Much impressed by the civility of voters, not clutching the throats of those who voted differently.

I'm all for a bit of crotch clutch, I'm clutching my crotch as I type.
I voted for the Drachma by the way

I voted neutral because the question is a generalisation - it would be OK in some instances where it was relevant relevant to the song and not in others.

I voted not OK.

One subtle move may have been OK but it was seedily done and not appropriate for a family show.

If a woman celeb dances to a Madonna track are we to expect (and accept) multiple crotch flashing with the excuse that 'Madonna did it'?

I'd just rather not see gratuitous crotch thrusting full stop. I don't think it added anything to the routine apart from embarrassment. Myself and my husband found it quite amusing in an cringeworthy way.

I don't think we need to be "will somebody please think of the children" about this. After all, they don't really know what its about anyway.

I voted against.
It is ugly. Do men think women find it attractive? Crazy! Women already believe men only think with their 'bits'. Men, no. Just no.

I voted against.

It added nothing to the dance and didn't say much for Ola's choreographing skills. I'd have preferred more dance content.
