new Sanyo widescreen tv help needed please!!!

Hi, Ive just bought a sanyo widescreen tv and cannot get rid of a letter P (red) on the screen, I have looked in the manual and cannot find anything there about it and what it means. Is there anyone out there who knows what it means and how to remove it from the screen please.

thanks for that i visited the site and they only had american tvs there. On the UK site it just has the same manual that i have. So I am no closer to finding out what the P means anybody have any other ideas please?

I rung the sanyo helpline and they told me that it is a diagnostic code and that it is knackered and told me to take it back to the shop and get a replacement which I did and the replacement is fine so problem solved!!
