Glad they didn't go for a nonsense title with 'Die' in it.

Sounds okay, fits in with other "singular" word titles like Moonraker, Thunderball, Goldeneye etc etc. Javier Bardem is great, but I doubt he'll have the Chigurgh haircut.

"Skyfall" sounds more like a sci-fi title by Arthur C Clarke etc BUT as it has been used as another word for Apocalypse and the plot is about a severe threat to Bond's world, it sounds potentially apt.
Whilst I loved the style of Sean Connery and the delivery of Moore, Craig's Bond feels so much closer to the character portrayed in the books - a stubborn and courageous man with faults. Half civil servant and half Jason Bourne. A long way removed from 'Our Man Flint'... |

Not over keen on "Skyfall" but it's ok, and given time it will become as familiar as other titles. It is nice to have a one-worder though.
At least things are confirmed now in terms of cast. Looking forward to the build and release. I'm giddy already! Adele for theme sing! |

Not watching it if it's anything like that Quantum of Solace. That was deffo not a Bond move. Even Casino Royale was overrated beyond belief.
The producers need to go back to making Bond movies again and not Bourne movies. |

Just a question for the Bond fans; I've never watched any but would like to start, do I start with Casino Royale or Dr No?

However from a personal point of view, i'm getting quite bored of reading the same comments over and over again. We get it - Quantum was disappointing & Bond is not like Bond anymore. Yawn! Things have a habit of evolving and developing, not everything can stay the same forever i'm afraid. For the record, Quantum improves with repeated viewings though is still slightly disappointing imo. |

Apart from the two recent Daniel Craig films, you can pretty much watch the Bond series in any order you want. The opening sequence of For Your Eyes Only is set on the tenth anniversary of On Her Majesty's Secret Service, but that's pretty much it as far as continuity goes. Each film is a standalone story with just occasional throwaway references to previous films here and there.

How do you know the circumstances of that poster. For all we know they are 12yr old and just becoming interested in the Bond series.
They could not have been bothered about any films before but a change in life has given them the opportunity to sit down and watch films. |

I thought that the Quantum Organisation plot line could have been written into a 3rd film.
What ever happened to Mr. White? |
