Hi Hayley,
Don't worry about it. Thank you for letting us know. We'll take plenty of pictures anyway.

Hi Hayley, nice to hear from you again!

Thought Westlife sang beautifully on SCD on Sat, they have the most fantastic voices and bring lots of emotion to their songs. Expect you've got tickets for their Farewell Tour.....but I am sure we won't hear the end of Westlife!

Re RC: We all understand family commitments, and it's lovely that GJD and others will take pictures and there'll certainly be lots of feedback after the events.
Take care.x

Before I bod off yet again, I see that 'Dragon' Peter Jones is on tonight....so should be a fairly easy-going OS, the last for our man for some time. Matt will be longing to get back on the sofa immediately he leaves for Edinburgh.

Lovely tweet from MB, still showing his tremendous sense of humour in the face of what's to come. How can the nation not love him.

Cass hope your shift is not too arduous but you'll be able to catch up with important WMA later.

KK, that phawtaw of M & A just sums up the change of ambience and a working relationship that has matured over the last few weeks. Matt has been a marvellous support to Alex with her SCD struggles WHILST doing all his shattering training, and doing a hundred other things at the same time, and looking divine at the same time (except for slippage on Tuesday's OS!)

Wonder what time he's leaving tomorrow? If we had enough energy, time and money we would wave him off at the airport but he knows he will have bakerette support all the way down the chosen route. He's such a trouper and I love him.

Wonder if Matt will remember to bring his hose pipe? Sooner or later he should find a dragon who is interested

'and looking divine at the same time (except for slippage on Tuesday's OS!) .....oh dear, another senior moment, I meant Monday's! But am watching it again and although Matt looks a bit pale and wan, he looks better the second time around! the uninteresting shirt didn't help! Btw, in the bulldog clip (sorry, couldn't resist a bit of punning) John S said that one of the bulldogs thought that he/she/it was a polar bear. What is it with polar and grizzly bears at the moment? There is obviously an ursine vibe going on in Matt's life.

Well, apart from looking a bit tired around the eyes (which he explained last night by saying he hadn't slept) I thought he looked great on Monday, and I absolutely loved that shirt. One of my favourites. We all like different things I guess

That training VT was actually from 2 weeks ago - Lucy tweeted pictures of her view at the time. It was a nice view

So hopefully that was an initial panic and he's sleeping OK now. Monday he was rather pale but I suspect he'd been working really hard all weekend as a final push before winding down a bit. It was noticeable though so I guess that's why he hit the fake tan on Tuesday

Yes, I've just rewatched it and realized that it was during the training VT he said he hadn't slept - but suspect he may have had the same problem Sunday. Not getting to sleep before 5 a.m. happens to me frequently and I then look much like he did - well no, not really, just the tired-looking part.

Good evening ladies,

Just managed to find a copy of the RT. scratching heads from OH until he read MB name on the cover! I did smile at the pictures, a bit surprised that the used an old CF picture.

I hope your plans come to fruition, I can only send money and wish that I could do more!

Evening all

How is Matt tonight? Is he OK? I got visitors so missed the show.

KK, nice screencap of Matt’s relaxing next to Alex. He looked v cool!
Love your latest batch of Matt’s picspam. Matt is such a delight. I love them all.

Speaking truthfully I never found a man so attractive and v charming in red or nearly red/bright colour until I saw M wore it.

Also I never thought a man can still be look so hot in guyliner until I saw Matt on SCD Halloween Special night last year.

I am almost OK with what M wears apart from wearing the OneShow ‘buy-one-get-one-free-brotherhood-shirts’ sharing with Joe, C and the Chris, E Trademark flowery shirt when Terry, W was on the show.

I’ve read Matt’s RT interview and watched SCD week 6 eventually.
V very nice interview as everyone has said. But I really want to see a bigger photo of Matt, Pudsey Bear and 3 glamorous BBC newsreaders on corner of the first page though.
I think it’s the best shot and should be on the front cover!

I don’t see this year SCD line-up is the best. While the couples have not reached the high level yet, the judges’ overmarks and early perfect scores have made false impressions of the show as if no flaw has can be found so the bar has not been set, hence overall standard has not been raised in the way it could have been.

The judges were v picky last year. Every detail had been picked up, enlarged and well over exaggerated. M & K (esp M) were always under the judges’ microscopes (sometimes under their v subjective reasons)!

I guess those bashing AV doesn’t really seem to be H’s supporting fans really. Has anyone noticed that A’s choreographies vary with the capabilities of H? She would only put his strengths in the routines and try to capture the audience's attentions rather than following rules without taking any risks. I think as a coach she clearly knows his best and shortcomings. I can tell where his posture, frame and hands and arms placements come from. Surely it is not his own nor Ola’s techniques but from Aliona's bootcamp. They should give her full credit for that!

Alex seemed improving...like her & JJ's QS.

I am really nervous for Matt. Just hope and pray he’ll be fine.

Oh me too Rita....will be back later to pick over the programme, so much to take in.

Just to say that poor Lotus has terrible trouble with her laptop, needs a new router and won't have internet connection for a few days. Talk about timing, lots of POCs to Lotus.

It's been an emotional evening.

Absolutely Emma. That's exactly what I think.

We're all nervous for Matt. Pity you missed TOS tonight. It was a good show. Peter was a very nice guest, and there was a great send off for Matt at the end, with good luck messages from rickshaw drivers all over the world, and messages from different celebrities, from Matt's parents and from his wife and children. Will you be able to watch later on Iplayer?

Wasn't he so lovely tonight, very bouncy and tiggery, lovely piece at the end with everyone sending matt their best wishes, lovely one from his mum and dad, mrs b and mini b's.
He really surprised with the vt and the new total that he raised, nice hug with alex at the end, before riding off into the night.

Thank murphy for that!! There's been a definite switch in last few days from "I'm so worried I can't sleep" to "Come onnnn!" - glad all the last min prep has helped. Had dream last night about the challenge - in my sub-conscious, it all went very well indeed. I feel this is a good sign.

Another thread in Mordor about Matt's rumba vs other male rumbas. All getting a bit silly. I don't think Matt rated his rumba as being the best of the night, never mind ever! Just relieved he got through it really. Ah well, hindsight and all of that. We will be proved right in the end.

It's odd reading these external threads now actually, because it's a whole different world to our little Shire. Everyone else barking away about a year old 90 second dance's fluidity and move, and we're all about rickshaws and ralgex.

Actually the thread starter - normally someone who dislikes Aliona's work - has been very positive about the rumba since the weekend. Kristina's responsible for that thread's existence - it's one thing to say Jason was undermarked, another to insist he danced best male rumba ever and everyone agreed! I think most people agree on a top 3 of Matt DiA, our Matt and Colin in some order. And there's at least 4-5 others that have scored higher and been better received than Jason.

But yeah, right now - rickshaws and polar bears are much more important to Bakerettes
