Oh, thanks Cass. I shall definitely get onto Amazon and buy that - the recipes they list sound delicious.

I'm good! I went straight to the right month on the new website - 26th June was when they aired the one filmed in that area. Matt was at Old Sarum and the Cherhill White Horse and we had bonus naked highwaymen.

Still, there's a fair amount of stuff in Wiltshire - Salisbury is probably just where the BBC can get a cheap hotel . He should go to The Polly tearooms (there or in Marlborough) if he gets the chance - their cakes will help with his calorie requirements

I bod off back to work after lunch and find that we have moved lock stock and rickshaw. At least someone putthe key under the matt . The beetroot wine and cheesy puffs are out ready to celebrate

Havent had time yet to admire the decorations but I'm sure they are even more classy than usual. The poster a la bus stop will take pride of place of course

Will catch Radio Nottingham on i player to listrn to the dulcet tones

Cass - CF in Salisbury - yet again!!!!!!! MB where art thou

Bee - how did you stay upright or were you totally thudded when they played hungy eyes - what a dance that would have been...............................oh dear am now admiring the ceiling from a distinctly prone position. thank you Bee, for keeping us in the loop.

Obviously the Rickshaw had to be removed to a place of safety.

What bold bakerettes, they deserve our admiration for even approaching the famed Rickshaw, I would have just looked from afar and squealed.

These are jolly days indeed.

Re the OS, HFW was a good guest, and it was a more relaxing prog than yesterday. Our man did look quite tired, well he would be, but managed to get through the show without having a thud of his own.

I think I'm unusual (well I know I am but......) in that I like the shirt tonight and the trousers

I didn't think he looked particularly pale either...no more than usual when he hasn't shaved. i always think he looks more pale with stubble for some reason.

I'm slightly upset though by the amount of people on TW (his timelines) saying he looked ill, pale, in pain
I know we all say it on occasion out of concern but we don't tweet it straight to him. Thats probably the last thing he needs to see when he's knackered and staring the last week of training in the face.

I didn't.......I fell off my chair. Then I fell off again at the ralgex moment.

he's very naughty

and I'm hoping he hasn't got the rickshaw in toe......I also hope CF haven't sent him a 'bring your PE kit' memo as well after last week.

Personally I hope he's going on a tea party tour of Salisbury accompanied by the Wiltshire equivalent of Rosemary and assorted members of the local WI. I'm sure he can put up with a bit of gentle groping if it comes with a side order of fruit cake & homemade jam scones......

bless....in all the madness of the last 10 days I'd nearly forgotten how exquisitely thuddable that episode of CF was.......wonderful.

It really amuses me when there's food on the OS and Matt always tucks in with relish (he'd probably like some of that as well) and his lovely face lights up as he chews away, and then he always digs in again.. He must be starving poor love.

Cass, know you are CCM'ing but hope you had a great day with your fine dad, he must enjoy your visits. I bet you have some laughs. . And I guess you are still on a high today after yesterday's fab news about the days off, I expect you've had a smile on your face all day. . Added to that, the knowledge that he is resting his weary head on a pillow in an hotel near you.....it's more than the human body can stand (that's why thudding was invented )

So goodnight sweet MBlovers, another exciting day in the life of the bakerettes is over, what's in store tomorrow. CCM. xx

Morning Cass and everyone! Yes, it's tipping down here as well, don't think many people are going to escape the rain today. Hope our lovely man is filming indoors as well as out! Any sightings or news Cass?

With the onset of winter, it's goodbye to short-sleeved checky shirts, biceps and shorts for this year on CF for this year. But of course we still have lycra to feast on for the next few weeks, so it's not all bad.

This week's CF, as someone reminded us, will be a rehash of previous clips so we should get a fair smattering of MB! It would be better of course if it could be an hour of Matt but I suppose the other presenters will have to be given screen time but we know who the viewers really want to see.

Very glad to hear that various groups of bikerettes had a brilliant day yesterday, there's a lot of imping at the moment.

So I will bod off now to face yet another hectic day (but I expect everyone else is doing likewise.) Ciao!

There's a reason he's nicknamed Snow Baker beyond just the fact that animals immediately flock to him For me, his natural colouring is rather Snow White too - when you consider he has dark hair with a slight red tint (noticeable in Summer) and green eyes then pale skin often goes with that. Away from the spray tan he is pretty fair skinned at the best of times so when he's working long hours he's going to look pale. Doesn't mean he's run down or ill just means he's got pale skin...

But yes, he'll probably read those tweets and hit the St Tropez

Fennel is lovely with sea bass but then again I love all aniseedy flavours. I had a weird experience once of booking a restaurant for the next day, dreaming about eating sea-bass and fennel there and then discovering it was that day's special when I got there...

And beetroot reminded me I saw this article re-linked somewhere earlier this week: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/8186947.stm - apparently drinking beetroot juice reduces oxygen uptake allowing people to exercise for longer and not get so tired. It also reduces resting blood pressure. I wonder if beetroot wine works as well?

Morning everyone,

I'd better stay off the beetroot juice then, as my bp is already too low. Fortunately, I don't much like it anyway. And here's a terrible admission for a bakerette - I don't really like beetroot at all One of the few veggies that doesn't appeal to me, although I have been forced to eat it for health reasons.

And the very thought of beetroot wine, in fact wine made with anything other than grapes, is horrific to me.

Maybe I should resign!

I only recently discovered I liked beetroot - but only pickled in vinegar. I thought I didn't like it cos when i was a kid my dad used to grow it then boil it up in the kitchen. It smelled revolting and put me right off.

Can't say I'm tempted by beetroot juice to be honest

//\\

interesting effects though......I'd read about it lowering BP before but not the other effects. Wonder if M's tried it?
Why is it always the yukky things that are so good for you?

my local supermarket has started selling prune juice

wouldn't recommend that if your cycling for 10 hours a day

It's time for Countryfile from the 23rd of October which came from the Sussex village of Slindon. They were celebrating the pumpkin festival held locally and also it's past as home of the first rules of cricket. CAUTION: This episode features Matt being flirted with by the WI whilst looking adorable and then in an extremely dangerous section Matt in cricket whites. Consider yourselves warned!

Introduction bit - and look, his jumper matches the door

Just went out to the main forum and saw bashing Aliona is all over…some of them are v personnel…truly applauding and disgusting.

Just wondering was it the same atmosphere here last year while A was dancing with M?
I knew there were solid supports for Mattiona on BBC blog.

I heard A & H is doing samba this week so I am looking forward to see A’s chorography and her Samba dress…
Hope Alex is doing well with her QS this week…A’s QS routines for M and RW were v fast. I don’t think JJ would choose v fast music as A did…

Afternoon all

Bodded in from work and tethered the ark to the lampost outside donned the thigh length wellies and splashed to the front door, Left the fishing rods outside the front door to catch a passing fish or three for tea

Well hope CF filming is well and truly indoors or they may all have floated away on the crest of a wave with the deluge we have had since midnight last night. Could almost imagine a rather guylinered Counta Macula rising from the depths with the flashing of lighning and thunderstorms!!! Dont know why but was surprised at filming CF this week in the midst of all the training and only a week to Baker Day

Oh Cass so near and yet so far as you said. Only 40 mins drive from Salisbury as well .We cpuld have been standing on Salisbury plain waving our Pudsey banner.

MH is the guest on TOS tonightnot my favourite guest. Undecided whether to watch but they are plugging the rickshawathon........................

Bee- Listened to radio Nottingham, short but lovely interview -particularly on the amount of food he has got to consume so that he doesn't fade away. Sounds very upbeat but does realise the mammoth task ahead

Please Beeb make a programme about the challengeas they do with other challenges. PRETTY PRETTY PLEASE

KK, thank you for your these stupendous and fascinating pics, they are truly superb and have rendered everyone speechless....and not for the first time during this mind-blowing week. Love them and love him. Ta so much for this further decoration to the new homestead.

And, if I may be so bold, may I repost an oldie but goodie from your back catalogue which is one of my all time favourites which could be displayed prominently.....

http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...20at134323.png

This is a very good phawtaw.

Two little things before I'm off out again....

Found a new bikerette in the making yesterday, when I said to a friend...I love Matt Baker....she said enthusiastically, oh so do I! He has so many admirers now which as it should be.

And also I loved the bit of the training footage on Wed (Ricky G day)....when an older lady ran up to give him some money which the young lady took (btw how come she gets that job, should be a bikerette's responsibility ) and then our lovely man blew a kiss to her...... If only we had been there.......

Happy days indeed......
