Talking of which, we've just learned there's a One Show 'highlights of 2011' programme on the 30th December with Matt and Alex. No idea if it's pre-recorded or whether they are dragging the poor boy away from his home-brew to present it live, but we do know that there is coverage of Rickshaw Challenge (The only truly genuine highlight I can think of), the Royal Wedding and the Streaking thing and "much much more".

Now for fun, here's a brain-teaser: Keeping in mind the "Much much more", try and think of 10 more highlights from this year - It's hard!

So far we've cobbled together: DavidW's swim, the Butler Baker, the Rioting and Fukushima Interviews, Dandelion Time...and erm....????

Thudding Top 10 will come in a different list by the way - this is the stuff which is genuinely meant to be good.... And as much as I would laugh out loud if they included it, I don't see Sleepgate getting a mention somehow...

How can you separate Thudding Top 10 from moments that are genuinely mean to be good - it's the same thing surely

There are VTs on protecting a church roof by sleeping there, Peter Snow reminiscing about his past, Matt and Alex doing voiceover on a VT about public sector workers decisions to strike or not,

Was coughing and spluttering but didn't take the hint so will have to play catch up tomorrow plus the tiny bit of footage on ITT.

Top 10 moments - on a serious note - apres the riots. Really came across well and he admitted he would like to do grittier stories as well. Hopefully as they will be featurung the RC Challenge we will find out how much was raised as the total has not been updated. I never did see the David Walliams "embrace" so cant comment on that one. That will mean no CE so no naff Xmas programme, Hope its recorded so that MB and AJ can bod off for a well deserved break

Am also hoping that he makes an apperance on the 40 years of John Craven that is on as well

Having had a very busy day, dropped off to sleep and it's taken me some time to come to!

Sorry you have had to take to your bed Lotus, whatever you've got sounds very debilitating. Lots of POCs to you, perhaps tomorrow will be a better day for you. My gammy leg is now less gammy, I managed to eat some food at my lunchtime meal with friends and my cold is nearly gone. Result.

Eddie was an interesting and witty guest tonight and was quite low-key dress-wise. . And Matt looked very handsome in his denim shirt but the unbuttonage was not as it should have been.

Btw, I've been reminded about the 'streaking' episode of the OS which of course brought to mind the never-to-be-forgotten waistcoat and blue shirt/jeans combo which feature in my best ever phawtaw of Matt.

Hellaw good people...well after a dreadful night with zilch sleep. I'm not exactly fighting fit! But onwards and downwards, I have simply got to get a grip with more Christmas shopping. It all started off so well but now it's all gone a bit pear-shaped.

I've actually got a fair bit of the day to myself before I pick up my grandson from school so mustn't waste it. If time, will try for a bit of WMA, have to have my fix!

As usual can't remember who the guest is tonight....but I'll look on FB later.

Halfway thru post and computer decided to update so will start again

Feeling much better today even though like SG sleep was hard to come by probably thinking about my fav things (and the hacking cough of course). Am going to go into work this pm for a few hours

Of course the Gok Wan getting naked was hilarious if only for the expressions and needless to say JB who had obviously been in cahoots will AJ over dishing the dirt. Of course the fav things will probably include some CE footage as well. Why is that only on for 30 mins when usually its an hour on Friday.

Think having this virus has addled my brain as it's on the 30th. There is me thinking it's the day before Xmas Eve so will have been recorded as everyone will be in full holiday mode wherever they may be

Evening all - had a short outing to Birmingham by train today for work. Contemplated heading the other way at the station and going to Tring instead

I see with it being Tuesday we have no viewing figures for The One Show - no surprises there! And I see most people (possibly all?) like the last picspam. Have to say I was a big fan of the look. Right amount of stubble, lovely jumper (looks a bit like a fine knit Gap one) and worn with a t-shirt which is better than a shirt. Just right

Re- Matt’s RC highlight, has the OS already announced the total of funds up-to-date on the show? If I remember correctly, the latest figure the OS confirmed on the show was over £1.5m which was a week after Matt’s completed his challenge.

One of the highlights could be Matt & Alex’s ultimate guest Steve Martin I reckon.

Evening. No I don't think they have announced the total and I would love to know it. Doubt if they reached the 2 million mark but might well have gone over 1.7 which would be amazing. When you compare it to CF calendar sales which JC said had reached 900,000k, and consider the latter was publicized for months (or it seemed like months) and the RC just for a week or so.

Brilliant show tonight,nice and relaxed, the hairy bikers were great. Nice of them to bring a pie for mb, he had his plate out ready and waiting for a slice and was quite happily munching away and throwing food all over himself trying eat, wonder if he got any to take home.Very tiggery with lots of laughs,both of them having a good laugh, accent came out alittle bit more, and a few gaw's coming out:

I hope that they announce an updated amount on the Best Of Tos- closing date is 31st December but am sure this show will not be live as everyone on their hols (we hope).
What an absolute gem of a TOS tonight. Loved the look (hope no razor in the stocking this Xmas). Designer stubble at its best and the shirt straining in all the right places (takes head out of ice bucket and opens window).
What a relaxed,friendly show it was and where did the 30 mins go. Hope the pie was put in a doggy bag ready for the journey home. Saves using the buffet.

I would love to know too. Would be great if they confirm it on their 'Highlights of 2011 show. When they said it was over £ 1.5m, my cheque remained untouched althogh I sent it on M's 2nd day of RC. It was cashed on 30 Nov so I think the figure could have reached more than £1.5m end of Nov when all cheques they received were cleared, I think just £1.5m alone was beyond my expectation!!

Your best bet might be keeping an eye on the Pudsey website from time to time, which currently says that the RC total is a hair over £1.7 million. They may give an update on the 30/12 show, as that is when the texting lines are closed or thereabouts!
