Foxsat - Recording in non Freesat mode
Am I right in thinking that when left in standby in non-Freesat mode, the Foxsat will non record anything from the Freesat schedule?
I ask because I was convinced that I left it in non Freesat mode last night and yet recordings have appeared today, but maybe I didn't. Also is it possible to set a recording in non-Freesat mode from the EPG, my experience so far tells me no, but are there ways around it? |

Provided a recording is further away than 15 minutes the box will change back to freesat mode to make a scheduled recording (after a warning if you happen to be viewing).
Raydon's modded firmware lets you add non freesat channe to freesat modes and make manual timed recordings. Other than that you have to kick them off yourself or use a programmeable remote with timed macros. |

I am note sure that doing this is wise for Non 28.2/28.5 channels!
