I can't say enough about Juno, anything you order before 5pm is posted first class delivery and EVERYTHING i have ordered in the past 5 years has came the very next day. Usually most albums are put up on a Thursday or Friday before release so you can always listen to the samples and see what the back cover looks like etc.

Not had mine yet. Ordered the signed one from Play and it's being sent over by carrier pigeon apparently. Glad to know it's doing well on iTunes, it's not doing that well on amazon

I ordered the signed edition yesterday but my orders been temporarily declined I'm 30p short on my debit card as some stupid website have charged me uneccasarily!!

Does this mean my order hasn't been reserved and that if the album sells out before my debit card is topped up I will miss out on it? Do I still have a reserved copy do you think?? Help??!

FINALLY got the (signed) album 10 mins ago so no chance to have listened yet but I do note from the sleeve notes that she does in fact have a website, www.birdymusic.co.uk , although there's very little content at the moment.

Well, I've had quite a few listens to this album now (had it on in the car quite a lot) and i honestly love it! BUT I can only give it 4 stars due to what was discussed before - the version of Without A Word on the album is just an absolute disaster. Nothing to do with Birdy, this one - her vocal and piano are as fantastic as ever. It's wholly the producers fault, this one! No idea who of the 3 well respected producers it is (my money would be on Muse man) as I can't even read the sleeve notes with a magnifying glass! Whoever its is should never work again, lol.

But the rest of the album is magic IMO. And I actually love her version of Fire and Rain as well even though I'm old enough to have fallen in love with the original. Probably the stand out track for me is her version of The Postal Service's The District Sleeps Alone Tonight. just beautiful.

The funny thing is even though this is a covers album the covers are not exactly mainstream songs so to many record buyers it will be the first time they have heard the songs. Pretty clever. I note Jasmine has said the follow up will be wholly original songs. Can't wait, personally. Singers this young are like 2 year old racehorses - sometime even the brilliant ones don't 'train on' to make it as 3 year olds and beyond so who knows how well she will go in the future?But if I was a betting man I would be happy to put the month's mortgage money on her becoming a big star.

I saw a poster for this album on the London Undeground, thought she looked interesting. Forgot all about her until I saw this thread. She seems pretty good, thanks, OP! Will check out the album.

i heard birdy while driving home she was singing live on radio 2 loved her voice thought got to get it anyway i came today really good album . i didnt no she was 15 love her voice

Some good promo for Birdy on BBC Breakfast this morning. An amazing talent and seems very level headed. Good on her for getting a plug in for her brother's band as well!

That was beautiful, no doubt about it. She is very much like a young Adele with all the emotions shining through. It is good to see yet another Brit being appreciated in US.
