Kitty and Misha would have got through.

I totally agree that Misha and maybe Kitty would have got through to the live shows in the USA. The shame is that neither of them will make the final here.

Agreed sadly. I prefer Little Mix to Lakoda Rayne, but for any other two comparitive acts I'd prefer the American version.

Just caught it for the first time and blown away by it - they seem to be focusing on people who can actually sing as opposed to some of the odd choices we've had this season. Having not watched auditions or boot camp got no idea who is the fave, just really enjoying watching some quality acts

Janet might be the only one who could make it through to the top 12 and do well enough to win.

There is a larger talent pool to chose from, therefore, more really good singers willing to bother with reality shows.

Marcus and Little Mix would have a chance.

Janet maybe.

Johnny probably wouldn't .Ditto Craig and The Risk and Misha.I say The Risk because there are just too many great similar bands there.Same with Misha. She's very good, but there are so many like her, she'd really have to be at her best from the start, which she wasn't .

Frankie and Kitty would get laughed off stage,as you can walk into any karaoke bar and hear better.

Now you know how I felt always comparing finnish (5million people) XF to yours.

The reason is they put people through because of talent, we put people through because they will get into the tabloids and create press attention, as is UK culture. I'm looking at you Frankie Cocozza/Johnny Robinson/Jedward/Wagner/Chico (the list goes on)

The US X Factor contestants are so full of shit, their eyes are brown.
Awful attitude.

UK X Factor may not have the voice but they are more likeable. Yes, even Cocozza.

Kitty is too eccentric and dry for X factor USA, no judge in their right mind would have put her through, she's not cheesy and unoriginal enough for the American X factor.

The only authentic act on the USA version are the stereo hogzz and they were in the bottom two tonight, says everything about the American's tastes really.

Well at least they haven't been acussed of being bullies or racists. They also don't have a huge douchebag like Frankie.

Yes because when I think authenticity and originality, I think X Factor UK.

Apart from the quality of acts being superior, which most are more or less agreed on, the show in general, is just more professional. No joke contestants, judges more constructive with less bitching ( so far anyway ), minimal time spent on anything outside the singing. It's just more of a "does what it says on the tin" type show. Cowell would do well to consider this set up for the UK version, as much of the british public are getting very weary of the same old panto type show every year.

I did watch the first Live Show of XF US and I don't think the contestants there are any better than on XF UK
