Alfie was ok and Shane's acting was not that bad and It was great to see Zoe interact with Alfie - her step-dad - in that episode enjoyed Nana Moon too.

The Sarah moment was once again MEGA CREEPY. The way Pauline went upstairs for Sarah to just slip out of the kitchen. Poor Betty though, getting thrown away by Martin when he saw psycho-gal.

Gary Vs Millers storyline was also ok I'm pleased to see Charlie back!

However thje Ferreira's even though it was just Ronnie and Adi have the affect to pull an EE episode right down the sooner this lot go the better.

All in all not a bad episode the best this week anyway.

Pinch Punch first Of The Month (No returns)
I thought tonights episode was good. I don't think the Ferreiras were in it enough for us to make any particular critique. Alfie's public breakdown is, for me, long awaited. Everyone makes at least one joke that nobody laughs at and this must be the first time for Alfie.

I actually thought it was light-hearted, and EE really needed something like that for the new month. GOOD START FOR OCTOBER!!! .

I actually really enjoyed it... The Ferrairas all need to die... As does Charlie and his squinty face... But I LOVE MARCUS CHRISTIE! I'll make a Marcus Christie fan group soon... He sorta reminds me of Anthony Hopkins (Hannibal films rule) Dunno why though... OMG NEW STORYLINE! In a new shocking twist Marcus eats Andy's liver! MWahahha... yeah...

I know Choco! Yay Marcus! Lets get cracking on a storyline for him and move him into the Square lol

God the way Sarah just emerged from the kitchen, that was really creepy. I thought Alfie's breakdown was a little stretched to be honest, he should have just stopped about five minutes before he did, I wanted to see him wreck the bar in front of all the punters, we haven't had a good Vic wrecking in a while, every landlord or head barman has done it at least once! lol

I don't know why everyone has been so down on the Garry/Millers storyline, I really enjoyed it, and I enjoyed tonights aswell. I also liked Alfie's little digs at Garry and Keith Miller lol And I have to say, but I love the Miller twins! Finally two kids who can act!

dont know if anybody else has noticed this: when sarah called martin in tonights episode i have a question about it
1. why did martin store her number in his fone if he wants nothing to do with her
2. how did sarah get his new number? (dont think sonia would give out her husbands number without asking first do you?)

1. Probably so he knew who it was straight away so he could divert the call.

2. Sarah was with Sonia when she bought the new phone for Martin so thats how she probably got his new number.

I think that the Miller kids are awful in all respects. In his "Losing it scene". Shane exposed himself as being quite poor. It was all over the top. Has Kat died ???? Did she say she was never coming back ???. Get over it Alfie.

I think the writers were trying to compensate for the rather shoddy and very obvious maternity leave break Jessie Wallace is on, it's bound to be a bit poor. Having said that hat's off to alun Nipper for writing this episode they should use him more often and send Ming Ho back the funny names shop.

I thought the scene with Alfie was dreadful. The whole scene was like an amateur theatre stage play.

Yeh it was the worst man breaking down scene ever, he should have stopped after he tried the sing along an then broke a glass or something.

I agree but when Shane win his next ' best actor award' they will probably show that scene as a typical example of his work.

I actually thought Alfie breaking down was not that good. It went on for far too long and I have seen marriages worst off than theirs.

I can't stand the Miller kids or Rosie...saying it was their fault. But the reason I don't like them is that there are actual families like that and it makes me mad!

I agree Jumpy. I have families like that near me, not a pleasant bunch.

What i hated about Alfie's breakdown was they way everyone just watched, I was embarrassed to watch on TV, and wouldnt have done for real. why didnt anybody help him out.

Yeah I thought that too, you wouldn't just stare and watch. You would help the poor guy out

Why the hell is Martin STILL stringing Sarah along? The other week he told her in no uncertain terms that he wasn't interested - why oh why then is he still pretending that he's on the point of telling Sonia he's leaving her? The only reason is to drag the whole story out. I'M BORED WITH IT. MOVE FORWARD OR LET IT DROP.

Kat's only gone away for a while - bit ridiculous for Alfie to have a nervous breakdown I thought.

I don't buy that as an excuse. If the storyliners and writers are good, there is no reason for it to be poor, whatever challenges they have to meet - and they certainly can't be blamed for Shane Richie's acting skills Anyway the storylines they slaved on for months are crap too (cardboard dragon etc) so I don't think Jessie's pregnancy can be blamed.

You're so right. It's a shame because EE has been improving slightly over the last few weeks and that scene was possibly the worst I've seen for a long long time. It was so awful I cringed.
