Why didn't Len skip the US show instead of Strictly ?

It seems a bit odd that they are flying someone from America to take his place. It would have made more sense for Len and Jen to stay in their respective countries.

I think ABC (Channel that does DWTS) asked BBC if he could miss Strictly as he always missed their show. Hence, ABC had to spend money on a replacement.

Who cares why, he's not there on Saturday so my mute button can take a break.

He has already skipped DWTS for a week in previous series so perhaps it was felt it was Strictly's turn.

It will be great to have a change, lets hope it becomes permanent, Have I got news for you is much better without Angus Deaton.

Perhaps Aliona's brothers have threatened to knee cap him this weekend.

If their approach is as amateurish as hers they'll probably dance around him, cross over twice and then break each other's knee caps instead.

In the US.

I'm surprised that someone as grumpy as Len manages to fly to and from LA every week for 2+ months every year. I couldn't do it and I'm almost half his age! I suppose money talks...

I suspect a flatbed in business class might be of assistance!
