I agree, and it would give Strictly the Royal seal of approval.

She was in the audience so hopefully she would be interested.

It would increase her profile and is more plausible than Pippa Middleton going on.

She would be the first Royal to take to the floor.

Nothing against the poor girl, she seems pleasant enough, but I wish she wasn't such a drain, like her father, on the tax payer.

She won't be going on Strictly.

She would be one of my dream peeps to go on the show. Along with Cheryl Cole and John Prescott.

No. I don't dislike the woman and I'm more royalist than republican, but I would not be able to stomach Bruce's fawning, and do you honestly believe three-quarters* of the judges would make even a pretence** of marking her dances impartially?

*Craig being the other quarter, obviously.

**Even more of a pretence than the current fiction that they don't have favourites/hidden agendas/production prompts.

I'm not too keen on John Prescott, but he would be great on Strictly.

Did anyone read Craig Revel-Horwood's recent interview in The Telegraph where he was talking about the SCD dance partners he'd choose for the royals? Can't say I'd be glad to see any of them on the show, because Come the Revolution etc, but if they're good and interesting people, that'd be OK. I don't mind them if they're content to be ordinary.

Here's the Telegraph link anyway, in case anyone missed it. Who would you pick for the Queen? See if you agree with Craig.

Wouldn't mind Colin Firth though.
(Has he been on it? He's too big really for the show but would be terrific fun.)

The only one I think would be able to pull that off would be Zara Phillips (who technically is non-royal, or at least doesn't have a royal title). Which at least would give Bruce and Tess a chance to dust off all those 'dark horse/falling at the first hurdle/back in the saddle' puns they had prepared for Jodie Kidd and Richard Dunwoody.

Agreed - I'd love Zara to do the show. Unlike Beatrice she's actually achieved stuff in her own right & still makes do without bodyguards.

God no; I totally agree about impartial marking. Plus having to see her sister in the audience would get on my nerves.

Lots of people would like to see Fergie on Strictly.

Actually, I'd be perfectly happy to see Beatrice on SCD. For starters, she does at least have a valid reason for being in the public eye, unlike Nancy Dell'Olio.

When Fergie was on Graham Norton she was a great interviewee - prepared to be open and quite funny with it. If Beatrice was prepared to do the same that would be great, so few women with any sort of decent personality seem to do the show these days.

Come to think of it, we're probably more likely to get Fergie than we are to get Beatrice

It's not going to happen. The most they could hope for would be on a charity edition but even then the Royal family would be very wary of anything like that after The Grand Knockout Tournament.

Her mother is more possible because she is not as bothered about Royal protocol and always after ways of earning money though perhaps more likely on the US programme.

She was only there to support her friend Holly. I would say the girl prefers to watch x factor- she looks to young to enjoy strictly

No. Never. It won't happen. For one thing, the judges and everyone would just fawn all over her.

Also I don't see the royal bum being exposed on SCD in the near future. The spawn of Fergie and Andrew have royal standards to maintain you know.

I'd like to see Beatrice get a job, full stop!

Y'all are saying she will not but you never know.

She might want to become a national Treasure like Ann Widdecombe did. (Believe it or not Ann Widdecombe was loved by many)
