Strictly Come Dancing News for 2012/13
There will be a 2 hour 10th Anniversary Special featuring an end of show Dance of Champions where all previous winners will perform a special show dance at the end of the show.
There will also be some shock revelations
1 Sir Bruce Forsyth will announce his retirement from the show
2 Len Goodman will be retiring as Head Judge and Craig Revel Horwood will take on the role
3 Either Graham Norton will compare the show from 2013 subject to contract with a new female co-host or a new and up coming comedian will be given the role.
4 There will another female judge added to the judging panel either Karen hardy again subject to contract or an alternative female show choreographer. Ola Jordan may consider the role
5 The Opening show for 2012 will be an Olympic Special featuring a guest audience of all British Olympians and Para-Olympians
6 Aliona will be leaving the show as her contract is not being renewed
7 Tess Daly will be moved to either Strictly 2 or as an additional progress reporter visiting each couples dance training sessions and providing updates
8 Anne Widdicombe will be dropped
9 Live red button commentary to be dropped
10 Anton du Beke may leave the show if not given the role of main host or an other worthwhile alternative.
11 Alicia will not have a scoring card above eight prior to show 4
12 Claudia Winkleman will be given a catalogue of clothing that does not contain the colours black or dark brown in the pages and will have to select a wardrobe that falls in line with the shows criteria except for Halloween
13 Part of the line up for 2012 currently under negotiation are Jo Brand, Carol Vorderman, Charlie Stayt and Susanna Reid, Adrian Charles and Fiona Bruce.
