Sorry I don't understand your point. Are you say I am wrong for liking Kelly and for disliking Frankie?

Kelly is always trying to hog the spotlight. I hope that she and her mega ego don't come back next year.

As a sign of appreciation, of course.

I quite like Kelly as a judge

I really like Kelly- I perceive her to be very funny and very fair. To me, she always seems to give great feedback- relevant, technical and gentle towards those not in her category (Tulisa eat your heart out...)
She is confrontational with Louis but to me this shows that she's comfortable with him enough to assert her point. She certainly brings a lot of credibility and glamour to the panel and has every right to be so confident given what she has achieved. I can't understand how people say she's arrogant when she genuinely seems to care a lot about the other acts and clearly feels bad when having to vote someone off.

I really like Kelly and I hope she's back next year.

And also- hurry up and release Lay it on me!!!

I really like her. She brings a bit of personality and talent to a very wooden and untalented panel.

As for Kelly being obnoxious and aggressive, I guess it's all relative. To me she's strong and assertive with her opinions, which is refreshing to see in a female judge. Often they're forced to take on a more submissive role while the male judges compete to see who can be the alpha judge (see US X Factor). I don't think she's ever really crossed a line for me and honestly I haven't seen a hint of "arrogance" that most people claim she has. On the contrary, I think she's someone who understands how hard it is to make it in the music industry, who's been humbled by her own experiences and is just trying to get the contestants back on track.

As far as why I like her as a judge, I just really appreciate her comments. She seems to be someone who actually KNOWS what she's talking about. I do like Tulisa but I don't think many of her comments hold a lot of substance. Kelly talks about the tone, the tuning etc. & I think is one of the few judges this show has ever had who really focuses on the voice. I find myself agreeing with a lot of what she says, or at the very least appreciating her feedback. That's ultimately what I look for in a judge, hence why Kelly is my favourite.

But different strokes for different folks. ”

I agree with this.

Tulisa and Louis who are so worthy of peoples' respect! [/sarcasm]

Well that's the most absurd theory of the month award sorted already, and we're not even a week in yet.

ok.com can do funny things to a girl.

What's Andrew Lloyd Webber got to do with anything?

Yes, I quite liked edited Kelly. Had she left before the live shows, her reputation would only be marginally flawed by the mistakes she made at judges' houses.

It's not that I don't like her. The only thing that annoys be about her is that, whenever she's having an argument, she always tries to win by overshouting. That's not the right way to win an argument, honey.

I liked her more during the audition stages than now during the live stages. I have the same thing with Tulisa.

I absolutely loved Kelly during the audition phases. Thought she was better than Cheryl/Dannii the lot! However since live shows my opinion has totally changed. First of all sending home Amelia instead of Sophie was a crime. I also think she comes across as very rude sometimes when she shouts over the other judges, and I really think she is shamefully disrespectful to Louis.

I don't dislike Kelly but I prefer Tulisa.

Having said that Kelly is a million times better than airhead Biffa. Kelly is lively, intelligent, articulate, knows the music industry and is funny. My only criticism is that she is a bit over bearing and bossy at times.

Not so sure about her mentoring skills, song choices and contestants. She should never have sent Amelia home over Sophie. If indeed it was her decision and not TPTB.

If you're suggesting that just because Kelly sold a couple of records she has an automatic right to act superior to others than I think you might wanna re-evaluate your umm, values. Because they appear to have been corrupted by the culture of celebrity, a facetious and frivolous yardstick (at best) to use when making moral judgments.

Must admit I find her irritating, too over the top and half the time doesn't seem to know what to say.

I don't think she's ever explained her decisions when voting in the bottom two either, except with Sophie v Misha over the phone.

I liked her at the auditions, I even liked her when I was in the audience at the Manchester auditions.. but on these live shows I just don't.

Kelly was far warmer and more 'human' and soft during the audition stages, she seemed supportive of EVERYONE. Now with the live shows its like she's forgotten her acts are the ones hoping for a career in music. She seems to have taken the competition aspect to heart and win for herself. Its a shame really, that doesn't make her a bad person, just pushy, loud and abrasive. As for the her skin colour being an issue for viewers- gimme a break. Far more likely people are put off by her brash yank behaviour.

How so? America is a very self-centered society.

As long as there are black women on TV , someone will always criticize them simply for being black and nothing else.

All I can say is BLACK WOMEN ARE BEAUTIFUL!!

Kelly is popular with the public as Cheryl Cole was before her.

DS is an ass. We all know that with any reality TV show we always support the one the public don't care for that much (think it's Kitty this year isn't it? This place will be a frickin hoot tomorrow night after she goes out, I cannot wait)

The favourite judge ever on DS is Dannii Mingoue which sums up how far this place can be from reality. But it's good to be different

Since "we" created American Idol and X Factor USA, I doubt that's true.
