Isn't it possible that people just don't like her, without there having to be some underlying racial motivation?”

Because people on here have mentioned her americanism and being too black american. lol! and saying things like "arrogant" and "yanks think they're better than everybody".

No they aren't. Star Search only began in 1983. British talent shows like Opportunity Knocks predate it by decades.

Nothing like as many that come the other way. And that's largely for theme parks and cheap shopping too, rather than history and culture.

What does that have to do with the fantastical notion of some supposed "inferiority complex"?

And no, she doesnt have a bad attitude

Kelly has plenty of work coming in and she turned down/cancelled a few comitments to do xf because she loves it rather than needing to do it.

Of course it is an inferiority complex. its a big deal for you guys to come to america but at the same time you resent us?”

Is there any other way?

Her attitude absolutely stinks. She's rude and brash, her manners are pretty much non-existent and she's incredibly immature.

She's doing it for the money, and to promote her career (although the latter objective seems to have somewhat backfired).

"It's a big deal" because holidays are generally about indulgence, and what better way to indulge yourself than spending a fortnight in the greed capital of the world? I'm missing the resentment thing. I suppose we can become mildly disgruntled with the way you [ab]use the language we gave you from time to time, but it's not as though anyone's losing sleep over it.

well her peers and her judges like her enough and those that meet her do too. Only Ds and the Ndubz tramps seem to dislike her. She isnt a robot. If her jokingly calling louis up on "swagger" upsets people alot then shouldnt be watching tv. Because the "incidents" are so tame its ridiculous.. I wish I came across people with as bad as an attitude as her.

At least she isnt stiff and cold aka.. and at least she doesnt play down her confidence to please a few people who wank over insecurity.

I always find comments like this very funny given the incredible amount of success she has had. Some posts are a source of great amusement

Aside from the obvious over-dramatising of some of the comments, you've got to accept that not liking an Americanism or thinking someone is arrogant doesn't mean someone has an inferiority complex.

It seems like you are overly sensitive to anything that could be remotely considered a negative view of something or someone American.

It's possible to like America, but not everything that is American.
