New forum suggestions
Creating this thread in support of two new forums already suggested to the mods by other members on here. Namely, a RETRO forum for the Music section and a TRAVEL forum. Please use this thread to support and/or suggest new forums. Mods, I hope this is okay as a way to let DSers voices be heard.

Really like the idea of a Travel one.
Retro in Music ? Not so sure, as it would leave the rest of Music to endless teeny/tweeny stuff. I quite like the mix of old and new that you get at the moment. |

An open bitching section so we can see who's saying what about who, expose the sneaky people who enjoy doing it.

about time DS had a complete new look as well. Looks so Windows95.
Fix the minor I bar issue (it disappears in certain typing situations). |

I do like the idea of a travel forum, but the danger is that with too many subsections the board could become fragmented.

deffinately retro... the success of the rare 60's and rare 70's threads, both running for over a year now, prove theres a market for retro. i know of no other successful retro forum that caters for a broad field on the net. ds being the biggest entertainment site is in a prime situation to capitalise on the need.
oldies are often put off by forums because music forums are (naturally ) dominated by young people. a retro forum would give them easy access. |

I reckon there should be kind of like a GD section but where its a free for all. Only rules would be no racism or discrimination. So you couldn't report people for hurling abuse at you such as "thunderc*nt" or name calling.
As long as the sign on the door reads something like "If you're a thin skinned pansy likely to run crying to mammy then do not enter." |

I'd like to see a travel forum and also a religious one.
I don't see why we can't have a couple extra, when there are so many (around 30-40) in the 'Digital Communications' section. |

Might be a teeny-tiny contradiction if you said 'no discrimination' and then used the word 'pansy'.....

A separate forum for anything to do with immigration, EDL/BNP, rants about religion and not forgetting anything where the OP quotes an article from the Daily Mail
