I know I'm not.

I don't watch Dancing With The Stars and I've never seen Dirty Dancing.

So I'm not bothered about her appearence in the slightest.

I'm also not looking forward to all the fawning over her we'll probably be subjected to.

I'm looking forward to Len's absence

I've never seen Dirty Dancing or seen her in anything else either. However she came accross very well on ITT so I guess a change is as good as a rest...

Perhaps she'll waste less time than Len does playing up to the cameras. The less time the judges spend on my screen, the fewer times I have to press the button on my remote to fast-forward through the recording of the show I make.

I'd have been excited if we'd been treated to Ian Waite, Matt Cutler or Karen Hardy.

How can you have not watched Dirty Dancing?

Where the hell have you been?

I watched the series of DWTS that she won and she made me reach for the mute button on my remote one time too many. Thus I was dreading her stint here. However she came across well on ITT, so I'm now fairly neutral.

It's OK Scarlett neither have I - and I haven't spent most of my life abroad - it's just that my interests lie in other directions.

Who?

And her qualifications to pass judgement are ........

She starred in a dance film years ago.
She won a version of SCD.

One more than Alesha then.

Speaking of which, I'm also excited about the increase in the number of women on the panel.

So, you've never seen her or her work, you've never seen her dance and you know nothing about her, but you've decided you don't like her anyway.

That's really rational, or maybe it's just an English attitude thing

P.S. She is one heck of a dancer, but you'd probably hold that against her too!

Like Alisha, she won a dancing competition, but is no expert. Why not use Karen Hardy? Seems obvious to me.

Me too, but especially Ian !! I have absolutely no idea who Jennifer Gray is or what makes her a suitable stand in for Len.

I never said I didn't like her.

I was merely asking what others thought of her appearing.

What I don't like is the way she's being revered as some sort of Goddess - it's all I've heard on ITT. I'm just a little underwhelmed by it all, that's all.

she is only famous (if she is) because of Patrick....nothing else .....i cant believe that she still makes comments about how she danced with him blah blah blah ....cant stand her....and plus has she had a face lift or something? she looks so different then in Dirty Dancing

Watched ITT the other night and was like "puke"

So would I Ignazio, so would I. Especially the lovely Matt Cutler - but all three know what they are talking about. Ms Gray knows about Dirty Dancing and no disrespect to her but she isn't a ballroom or latin dancer and the other three are. The BBC need to get a grip - next they'll have someone like David Beckham - just to up the ratings. If they are gong to have someone who can't ballroom or latin - why not have Colin Firth - he's absolutely gorgeous.
