Little Mo's Return Storyline
Little Mo Mitchell will return to Albert Square on November 1st, with a new baby! Almost a year after she was raped in the Queen Vic, which left her pregnant. Mo left soon after she decided to keep the baby, her marriage with Billy seemingly doomed she chose the life of the child over her marriage. However, it would seem Little Mo's return is to coincide with the trial of Graham, the man who raped and fathered her child which begins on November 5th. Jessie Wallace who returns as Kat Moon on October 22nd, will also feature in scenes with Kacy, as Kat aswell as the rest of the Slaters will be supporting Mo and hoping that Graham goes dahn for wot he did.

Oh god, you mean we have to go through this rape thing all over again? Didn't we suffer enough when it happened
There's no way he will Go Dahn, considering she invited him to help out that evening, and she then left her husband and had the rapist's baby. Although I'm thinking about what would happen on Planet Earth of course...

How come so far Grahams trial hasn't even been mentioned by the Slater clan in the past few weeks........and will Lynne and Belinda return? I mean it would be quite heartless if they didn't............But knowing Eastenders they probably won't........Just like the crappy excuse they gave for Belinda's absences from Kat and Alfies wedding........Botox/face lift gone wrong my arse EE, give us some credability!

Well - he is moonlighting in The Bill at the moment as David Radford - a right bad un and as hard as nails ........
I doubt Ill be able to watch the scenes with Little Mo in them ....... her cowering, warbly voice irritates the living pooh out of me. One thing is for certain though : when Mo gives evidence - Charlie Slater - he of the permanently leaking tear ducts - will cry ......... lol |

Guys, look at it optimistically - these episodes will be brilliant. Little Mo will hopefully return a little stronger, and the trial will be a good set of episodes! Don't knock EE until you've seen the episodes, we all know it's been awful but hopefully things are looking up!

I too am not saying they'll be fantastic or anything, but even with Louise Berridge still at the helm for this one, it could be good. Its a whole month away so just see what happens, not sure if Kathleen will have stepped in by then. I doubt it as Kacy returned to the soap a few weeks ago.

The reason I'm quick to criticise this particular storyline is that it was ill-conceived(
) from the start, and I for one would like it dead and buried, not raised from the grave  I do hope Mo has bucked up a bit. She used to irritate the crap out of me with that silly voice. |

Well I'm quite looking forward to Kacey Ainsworth coming back, but it would be nice if Little Mo has had some kind of change of attitude while she's away and comes back without that cowering, little-girl-lost behaviour

I dont' think she will. I mean consider what the character of LIttle Mo has gone through offscreen since her departure from Walford last year. She gave birth to a baby who was conceived through a rape, all on her own, with no family, her dad didn't even know where she was! Now she's a mum and she's got to come back stronger. I don't think she can be the lost little girl anymore, otherwise social services will be around for the kid.
A lot of EastEnders fans kicked up a right old fuss when she was raped in the Queen Vic last year, a year after the evil Trevor had died and been wiped from her life and after she had just married Billy. But you forget Kacy was pregnant in real life, what other way could cause LIttle Mo, who up to that point was very happy, she was in the bar, she was the life and soul of the Vic, what could have caused her to leave Walford so abruptly? Billy having an affair? Yeh rite! with who? The two of them falling out over wanting kids? That wouldnt' have worked as both said they wanted kids beforehand. Mo being sent to prison? Nope, she'd already been in prison. As brutal a subject matter as it was, I thought her departing storyline was good. It was heartbreaking to watch her subjected to that again by another man. But in the long run, it was a very effective way to write out her character and also create some good storyline possibilities when she returrned a year later, with a child being one of them and the trial of her tormentor being just the first one. And she has said herself, that her storylines are very good. So I'm looking forward to having her back. |
