Gapping, yes. They didn't say a single word about it whereas a couple of years ago at least 2 of the judges would have jumped all over it.

Oh for goodness sake Christine Bleakley and Bill Turnbull work for BBC and they weren't overmarked!

Apart from Craig there are no proper judges. He is the only one I take seriously.

To be honest I like Chris but he couldn't dance a step all he did was put on a funny face and then people voted for him. I will always say that he didn't deserve them 10's in the finale.

There is only one judge different from them days. None of judges are 'experts' in ballroom anyway. As far as I am concerned, they are there for panto effect.

Yes, she's my mum .. no, I just enjoyed the dance, it had a bit of spirit and apart from the gapping (which was bad ) I thought she did well and I enjoyed it.

I agree she's the BBC's favourite and they will be trying to promote her to increase her chances, but I thought she did better tonight, far less hesitancy.
She seems to have finally accepted, there's no auto-cue for her on this show

She has ended up tied on the leaderboard with Anita. I thought Alex was better than Anita tonight so on that basis she was slightly undermarked.

OR...

She could continue to improve week upon week, and the audience enjoys it? Perhaps she excels herself over the next few weeks and wows the audience?

She has made some of the biggest improvements in terms of dancing out of all the celebrity dancers this year. Her change has been quite obvious; the last two weeks showing the biggest changes. She hasn't got far to go in terms of getting to the standard that the top 2 other females are at. There has been a lot of talk about who is the dark horse this year, and despite no one mentioning her name, Alex has always been my contender for dark horse.

I agree with this. She was quite a bit better than Anita.

Agree. I'm starting to like Alex. It's clear she is still improving. And I love her Welsh lilt.

Alex, Audley and Robbie were all overmarked.

As they have been pretty much week after week (Alex's Viennese Waltz wasp probably her only fairly amrked dance).

I usually love the welsh accent, but hers is grating and shouty. Awful, don't think she will win, she is not good enough, mediocre at best

Exactly. That quickstep just went too fast for her. It's James's fault he didn't do something about it.

Chris won because of the charleston, the easiest dance of the lot, because you can mess up big time and still sell it.

For me...it had swing...not over marked.

Knew nothing about her initially - but now quite like her as a person. Having said that I thought tonight's quick step was awful and yes she and James were well overmarked.
