I really didn't like her judging, I prefer Len and that's saying something! I hated the way she read out her marks in that high pitched voice, ew.

i'm still amazed at how the nose can make such a difference to the overall look of someone
with having her nose job (along time ago now i know) she looks sooo different. She's pretty with either nose though. however i'm really surprised at how tied to her dance notes she was. basically just read them straight out. shows that being a judge on a live tv panel isn't as easy as some think.
hardly see how this makes her boring though?!

Particularly if they should never have attempted the job in the first place !!!

Even OH could spot that she was reading scripted comments half the time! Len should have been replaced by another professional dancer, Karen Hardy springs to mind.

Ian Waite springs to my mind

I suspect that either Karen or Ian would have resulted in "Len who?" and "oh there is more to judging than saying "that dance suited you."

Imo Jennifer was not boring, but was not a presence either, I was left feeling disappointed. A missed opportunity to bring some freshness to the panel, but perhaps that was not what was wanted halfway through the series when the existing panel is here to stay...

I totally agree with this. I love Karen and was gutted when she left the main SCD show. I think she has the knowledge and impartiality to judge well, as well as being able to give proper advice to contestants on where to improve. I would like to see her on the judging panel (especially in preference to Jennifer Grey who I didn't rate much in the judging position, although to be fair who knows how good/bad she would be if she was on the judging panel for a longer period of time).

For goodness sake lighten up. Why do people take this so so seriously. I ask you!!! Her marks didn't matter in the scheme of things. She was delicious as a person and it was a pleasure to see her there.

Except she's not someone from an agency sent to sit on reception to cover Sharon who rang in sick. She was supposedly there to give informed comments on dances.

This farce wasn't fair on Jennifer, the competitors or the viewers.

I think she did pretty well under the circumstances (first time to judge, first time to do UK live, probably still a little jet lag, not wanting to come in as 'the heavy') but I also think it's downright stupid to have two non=professionals on the judging panel. Alesha Dixon shouldn't be there (for many reasons not the least of which is her non-professional status) and neither should Jennifer Grey. Yes, Alesha and Jennifer both won their respective competitions but that does NOT make them qualified to judge!!!!!

She was useless!!! Wooden delivery of her scripted lines, pointless scoring.
it's bad enough with Alesha - they should keep Craig and get some decent judges

She was a total waste of time with her stupid 'Len' impressions.

Surely there must have been someone better they could have found without flying her over.

Watching the reSOLts show, it's clear they chiefly chose Ms Grey because of her name so they could have "Jen's Lens"

Yes I did wonder if she had scripted what she wasgoing to say for some of the celebs (and maybe with the help of the BBC) as she looked to always be reading off her notes with the odd awkward break rather than just let the comments roll off her tongue (which is what I'd have prefered). I did wonder at one point if 8 was going to be her only use of paddle as well! On the whole she was ok but that's pretty much it. She seemed nice and, well, that was the problem really, just felt abit meh. I'll actually be happy for Len's return, lol.
