This seemed to be an uncomfortable week for Harry and maybe he needed to spend a night in the nightclub having a few drinks and partying with the scantily clad Samba girls in the VT for him to get the feel of the dance? I remember Vincent saying Rachel was holding something back, and Matt Dawson was the same. Harry may have to free himself to get his best performances in Latin.”
This is so very true. A lot of the celebrities (and really anyone who starts dancing) get so caught up with the technique that they forget dancing was not invented artificially by a few bored and out of work people who decided to create a mindf**k named Samba for a laugh! Every technique that is in Samba comes from the music.
In my opinion the only celebrity who understood this and had the physical fitness to execute it (at least in Latin) is Jill. Even Kara was too balletic, placed and technical for what one wants a latin dance to be.
Although that doesn't necessarily help Harry. I know he's a musician and deals with rhythms for a living, but just because he's the drummer of a pop rock band doesn't mean that he's a great musician.
ETA: I was watching Get Him to the Greek yesterday, and that's where "mindf**k" came from. It's such an accurate phrase to describe Samba!
