she overmarked everybody, and made even more vacuous comments than Alesha does.

Having thought that it might be OK without having Ian or Karen or any other previous pro......I dont know why we didnt have a previous pro

Me neither. I would have liked to have seen Karen on the panel.

I agree with someone else's comment that it was rather strange when Jennifeight gave someone an 8 with a "why am I giving this score" gesture. Smacks of fixing.

Methought that maybe Len had taken his SEVEN (and presumably any lower numbers with him to America)!

I'd always assumed that she was a professional dancer until this week on ITT.

But - for a celeb - thought her comments were more insightful than Alesha's.

Do you think that Craig and Bruno had to hug in sympathy after the show?

She left herself with nowhere to go when she gave Lulu and Audley 8s!

not only was the overmarking ridiculous but so was the voice she said 'eight' in. *shudders*

She overmarked everybody. On her scale, there is only one point between Audley and Chelsee which is a joke...a bit like she was as a judge

Thought she'd be a good asset to the panel. How wrong was I? Karen or Ian or even the delicious Matt would had been a better choice IMHO

The most pointless exercise in Strictly's history IMO bringing in Jennifer Grey.

As much as I love her, she served no purpose. In all honesty they should just have gone without a fourth judge for one week.

The only purpose she served was to make the other judges look good. Maybe that was the point.

She was clearly reading from a script that someone else had written and the 8's in a stupid voice were ridiculous!
I thought that she was a really poor addition to the panel in the absence of Len. Would rather have seen Karen Hardy or Ian Waite for one week.

As charming as Jennifer Gray is, she served no purpose on the panel tonight. Even Alesha was better than her and that is saying something! She gave nearly everyone an 8 and didn't give any constructive criticism. When will the BBC come to their senses and give Karen or Matt a resident position on the panel of judges and get rid of Alesha and Bruno. Actually Bruno was quite good tonight but so over-the-top - Craig was Craig but he is a good judge and knows what he is talking about and probably has been told by the BBC to suck lemons and turn the milk sour - and he does it very well indeed. Have to say Jennifer Gray was dis-arse-ter.

Other than dirty dancing in film, and dancing on DWTS, what qualifications did Jennifer think she had to be a judge? She must feel badly in need of publicity to risk making herself look so stupid.

And why did everyone - on ITT as well - bow and scrape to her in such a silly fawning sort of way? She's just an actress for goodness sakes, not flippin' royalty.

OMG what a load of tosh. Maybe she was only given three number paddles. As for the stupid accent for the numbers, shesh don't get me started.
What I really don't understand is how she won DWTS, since the only thing I saw her in was Dirty DANCING. Now, that's a fix

With Derek Hough as a partner Ann Widdecombe could have won dwts

She was actually really good on DWTS. I do think that she deserved to win. But winning doesnt always make u a good judge.

Its not really her fault though, it was the BBCs for choosing her. She had clearly seen none of the show, yet pretended she had by reading her script.

True she did dance well on dwts, but she just never stopped whining and moaning.

As for never seeing Strictly, I'm sure the beeb could have supplied her with dvds to view had she asked, or there's always you-tube. If anyone accepts a job that they are going to be paid for, it's up to them to find out about it and know what they should be doing.

She was just a complete joke... the show was a joke tonight. I was wary of her being on it but I thought she would err on the side of caution with her marking... but no... Lulu dances, Craig gives a 5, Jennifer gives an 8... What a joke seriously!

And who was she scoring when she gave an 8 but put her arms up like 'i don't know why i'm giving an 8'? What was that all about?!

Disaster of a show... and don't even get me started on Bruce fluffing up his lines for nearly every link

Don't, the thought of her and Derek is just too much to bear.

She would have been better following Len's example and give out sevens as a default score, it would allow her to go up one or two if deserved. Eight was too restrictive and too high a score most of the time.

her '8's for almost everyone were meaningless. They would have been better with just 3 judges.
