It's a great tactic - positioning them as the girls next door so that tweeny girls will look up to them rather than hate them. But it's just so transparent and hammered home to us week after week - "the ladies' favourites"... "representing girls across the UK"... I don't know, I sort of feel like the band's image and music should articulate this without Tulisa having to spell it out in a desperate scrounge for votes every week.
