Did anyone else piss themselves laughing at this?

At the start of the show, when Dermot came onto the stage he was surrounded by these dancing girls who were gyrating around him. It was just so cheesy and naff I was laughing my head off at it

You can tell they are trying to make his entrance more fun. I preferred his normal spinny thing he used to do, far less embarassing.

I thought it was hilarious. I think the point of it wasn't trying to make him look macho, cos he just doesn't fit into that stereotype in any way, shape or form. It was a comedy thing.
