Be interesting to hear the background to that.”

dont know what Tess asked Brendan when they came over after being voted off, but Lulu said "not having to see me on Monday morning"....... definately think there was no love lost between them.

No, he said this week that the tango could well be their downfall and he was nervous about it - I think he knew they would probably be leaving. The pros can usually judge when their time is up.

Fair enough, I thought he looked a bit surprised that the viewers preferred Audley.

Now we know why Bruce was singing tonight - I've just seen the ad for his album!

Well yes, footygirl - I believed he choreographed the dance we just saw, which was why he was able to fit in at such short notice. He also choreographed one of the pro dances earlier in the series. Talented guy, but a tap dancer, not a ballroom dancer, so there's zero chance of him replacing one of the pros.

I LOVED tonight's show - far more than the main show yesterday, if truth be told. I missed the opening pro dance (that's the second time my baby bruvver has telephoned just as Strictly starts - he's now off my Christmas card list, but I soon got rid of him). I've got a soft spot for Westlife because those guys can at least sing; Brucie was on good form; and the guys' pro dance was HOT, HOT, HOT!

Jeez, I must have been taking happy pills, but I actually liked Tess's dress (faints), Claudia was on fine form and, best of all, Blulu's gone. What's not to like?

I'm sure it'll be number 1 for Christmas.

He was billed as assistant choreographer so I don't think he did choreography...he just helps the dancers out innit? Thought the choreographer was Mandy Moore (who also did the broadway routine with the pros).

when claudia was talking to artem she mentioned the assistant choreographer stepping in

I think Mandy Moore's choreography is amazing . I know she is american so does that mean she choreographs for dancing with the stars and our dancers learn the routine for our shows, or does she come over here for the series

Dear God, no. Now some relative will see that, know that I love 'Strictly', will think I love all things indiscriminately about 'Strictly' and get me it for Christmas.
Right, I'm away upstairs now to practise my gracious face in front of the mirror.

What was Bruno's comment upstairs that got edited out. It caused the audience to giggle while Jennifer was beginning to talk.

I thought it amusing that when Claudia was speaking to Lulu and Audley before the final announcement, there were a couple of rounds of applause, but every member of the audience in the background had their hands still, so was the applause dubbed, or only from downstairs?

Thanks to everybody on this forum for their comments and chat as I forgot to record the results show tonight. Reading through from the beginning has given me a great feel of how the show progressed - and I'm SO GLAD I missed not only Westlife but also Brucie singing (because he no longer can).

All the bit about Brendan and Lulu at the end very intriguing - lets see what the goss is on the blogs.

Fingers crossed that Artem will be OK next week.

Delighted that Audley has made it through - I did the math before leaving for rehearsal, and it was definitely on the cards that with equal scores he would be in the bottom two with Lulu.

I really wish Russell could drop the props and do one, just one, straightforward dance with Flavia: hopefully a Waltz. his paso another travesty tonight, and I really hate it when peole mess around to Bizet's Toreador tune. When he wrote that opera, the opera managers knew that this melody was going to be a huge hit, so the orchestra and singers were banned from singing or even humming it in the open, or out in the street before the opening night! If Bizet knew about what was going on tonight, he would be spinning like a neutron star in his grave.

'Night all!

I thought it was a tape of some sorts, just fake recorded clapping.
