Incredibly talented and vibrant (even if she IS unlikable) young woman.

It's just a damn shame that we've heard it all before!

True - there are many other singers like her - she's just the one who got through

They've moved on from endangered animals and the baby rhino, which is of course a traditional part of every Halloween Night. Now we''re into red ribbons, chocolates and flowers, wholesome family values with endorsingly tearful sentiment. This week - Presidential campaign. Next, Julie Andrews?

The thing I found most disingenuous, for a girl who wants to give back a grain of salt to an auntie was the sight of her sat typing into her expensive laptop as the provider arrived . Not only that, if this girl saved even some of the money she wastes on tasteless loud clothes and silly hairstyles she could have bought her auntie a bleeding salt mine by now, instead of selling us the bleeding heart story.

I know, a teenager owning a laptop, buying clothes and styling their hair. Whatever next

I know, all that, and no change to give back a grain of salt. Life's tough innit.

I don't particularly like her, I understand why people do but she is not to my personal taste at all.

You've decided that she "wastes her money" when you don't actually have any idea of how she lives her life.

And what about all the other contestants? I'd dare say they've spent money on clothes, laptops etc. Are they guilty as well?

But they don't claim their ambition is to give something back to someone who raised them.

..."not having my birth mother or father around, it’s tough…my auntie brought me up and to be able to give my auntie just even a grain of salt of what she did for me back to her…that… wow!”!

Live a little less extravagantly and it might just be possible.

Living extravagantly is different to owning a few things that most teenagers own, yes even those in relative poverty. You don't have to spend loads to style yourself as Misha did in her audition VT.

Besides, she is aiming high and will likely be making some money from all this whether she is signed or not.

Eh??

Laptops, the world and his/her significant other have laptops, mobile phones and the like.

Expensive clothes ??? what would they be. If you're talking about what she wears on the show, I think you'll find that they belong to the production company! If you're talking about what she wears off stage in the X Factor house, I've seen the girl in jeans, trackkies and the like. For her audition and at the Judge's house, she dressed up, a black dress for the former and a blue dress for the latter, are these the "expensive" clothes you're alluding too. Hardly.

Fair enough if you don't like her voice, if you don't like her..but I find some of the spurious " justifications" for dislking this girl far more disingenuous than anything she allegedly does on this programme.

I know its the unpopular opinion but I don't like Mischa and I didn't before the whole bully thing happened.

I find her false and i think she needs to learn modesty and humility. It is perhaps because her mentor and the production team feed her ego and tell her how wonderful she is that she appears to have the attitude of being untouchable.

Even when she was in the bottom two she could not take any responsibility for it herself or recognise that perhaps her fellow contestants were just better than her on the night. Instead of coming back with a more humble attitude and recognising that she does still have to work to impress the public even if she doesn't for the judges, she just adopted the same cocksure attitude albeit with a few in my opinion very false modest mannerism thrown in eg the touching her hand to her chest when she receives a compliment. I am all for confidence but i think she is more cocky than confident.

Her singing style is not to my taste but then nor is missy elliot and she's done bloody well for herself. i am sure there is a market for Mischa but she's never going to be everyone's cup of tea.

She is not a good singer by a long shot but the judges appear to be molly coddling her week after week as though she had given birth to the remaining panda that would save their species. There appears to be nothing special about her at all other than the status of endangered human she carries which is false and most probably driven by Kelly's somewhat deranged assault to attempt to do well on the show.

Dreadful and I hope she leaves tonight and takes this baby talk attempting to fool us with her along with the pointless family related theatrics she's been forcing upon us.”

...not a good singer ?...are we watching the same program ..not that enamored myself but to say she can't sing is just a smidgen inane

I like good singing. Misha B sounds like a monotone pneumatic drill. I think with the cities we live in today such sounds considering the roadworks we have today have become appealing.”

Like what a chorus of dogs howling.

Not heard this baby voice. To me a baby voiced person is not someone who is quite awkward and quiet speaking which is how Misha sounds. A baby voice is Nikki from BB, umpteen Playboy Mansion girls and Marilyn Monroe. I don't know what a speaking voice has to do with the competition anyway.

Ah, another one who, in what seems to be usual with the Misha defensives, completely misses the point.

The relevant thing here is that, unlike other contestants, this girl has sold herself as wanting to do it all so she can give something back to her beloved auntie, who is rolled out at every sympathetic VT opportunity, and who made so many sacrifices to raise her. Even a grain of salt would be amaaaazing - wow!

This is where Misha is disingenuous, because if she really was that desperate to give her auntie something, even a little something, she could do so by going without a few of her luxuries, like loads of people do for those they care about every single day.

But you have no idea what Misha has "gone without". You've decided that she has this "extravagant" lifestyle from a few VT snippets, when actually there's no sign that she has anything other than a very ordinary life.

In fact I'd argue that young people are expected to have laptops now, for work/education. At the very least, in the context of the X Factor household, these things are not uncommon.

The most important point though, which you seem to be ignoring, is that Misha has entered the competition partly because she wants to earn money to help her family. Regardless of whether you think she will be successful, her aim is to earn. Will she earn millions? Probably not, but I dare say she'll earn more than a "grain of salt."
