Misha just has a soft speaking voice, she has always spoken the way she does. Also, to those saying she is 'unlikeable' , well, just because you personally don't like her does not make her unlikeable - obviously, there are many that do like her.
I've got to say I was totally taken in by Misha's humble antics... the soft vice... the gentle nodding... the silent mouthed "thank you's"... her hand touching her heart as the compliments are dished out
I bought it all!
And to be honest why should she stop? - she does it so well!
I agree with all that stuff about "what happens backstage stays backstage" - and ultimately it is a competition... so I can't see why she shouldn't do her utmost to put the others off and make them feel insecure... then come out and do her Mother Teresa each week.
I was wondering OP, did you know Misha B before she appeared on xfactor? Surely to suggest it's disingenuous or false; a bit of a put on you must have something with which to compare it. I suggest what's really irking some people is that she just too talented. How dare she!

The baby voice only appeared after the whole "bully bully" claims.
Prior to this she talked, well not anything that is normal but different. She spoke confidently and boisterously but ever since the bully allegations she has adopted a baby voice to show how hard done she is.
That is the baby voice. It's disingenuous to give the impression she is going through a hard time. She has quietened down from how she spoke before and it's all to move away from her rough impression she gave before of someone who was in your face all the time - which she was!

Is there a market for her though ? At the moment she is an adequate singer of abridged cover versions. She is compared to a small peer group on the show.
If she has any ability to make it as a star in her own right remains to be seen. Cher Lloyd's album, after all the investment in her and it, has not sold fabulously well.
To make it Mischa needs to have not just an outstanding voice (she has an okay one) but she needs to have a charm and a charisma about her. So far that has been completely lacking hence the favourable edits on the show and pushing her near to the pimp slot.
