Will this be his last year? I sincerely hope so. I found his singing embarrassing tonight.

Truly dreadful and cringe-making. He never could sing.

The true mark of a great performer is knowing when to stop, but Brucie has never been that great. He is ego, however is enormous.

Sod off and play golf you silly old man. Try and have some dignity. Your pals knew when to stop.

Being old enough to have seen him when he entertained I would consider a friend should whisper "Bruce time is up"

i cant stand his weekly act. but i really enjoyed him singing and dancing

i kinda wish he could do something more improvisational than the scripted nonsense he does during the show

I've always supported him as a presenter, but last night he was "Mr fluffy" he made so many mistakes.

He was never that good as a singer and I thought his performance tonight was a bit embarrassing. He was nervous to start so had difficulty holding some notes, but it's time he gave up. The milking of the applause was even worse than his performance.

I absolutely hated it, he's no Tony Bennett who has charisma and style even though his voice isn't as good as it once was.

He was pretty good, I thought!

That is why I wish he'd have a bit more dignity and not behave like that.

It's much classier to bow out gracefully rather than almost harass a crowd in the way he does and never know when to just stop. Awful to watch.

No other man his age could do what he can do! He is fantastic.

This is just based on a nasty ageist sterotype.

You can see him sing on QVC tomorrow selling his Album I wonder if he is giving the usual 30 day money back QVC promise if you dont like it.

Surely to qualify a pretty average singing performance on primetime TV as "good for his age" is a bit of back-handed compliment?

If someone told me I was "good for my age" at any of my hobbies, like golf and music, I'd feel insulted.

Thankfully I was able to ff it because I started watching late tonight. I do wish he'd just retire, he's gone on far too long I think.

Brucie is in no way past it, that is so ageist. His singing was fantastic even for someone half his age and he is still an all round entertainer. Proper professional. If there was a countrywise poll I think your views would be in the minority.

In Brucie's mind he's Tony Bennett. We just say Gordon Bennett, turn him off.

It makes me cringe when Americans like Jennifer come here and see Bruce at work, when they are used to the host on Dancing With The Stars. They must be thinking - "this guy is like from the Dark Ages! I thought the Brits were supposed to be with-it and smart, so how come they put up with him? He's embarrassing!" Of course they are too well-mannered to say this, so they just smile politely and keep their thoughts to themselves.
