Whilst I do not encourage tooting in face book , I readily own up to it and I can assure all his fans.

What Aaron's friend said about him on BBOTS was very strange.

It hasn't altered the fact that I'll be piling in my last few remaining votes for Aaron today.

I'll be disappointed if Aaron doesn't take the opportunity to clarify his feelings towards Faye in time for tonight's HL show.

I say that . . . what bugs me is whether they'd show it anyway.

I would hope and expect Aaron to have enough support to get him through to the final four. However, I do think this is now his achilles heel. If he wants to win, I don't think he can afford to keep his feelings completely private anymore. He knows he's being doubted out here. Surely, he knows he has to try to do something to put those doubts to rest?

He didn't look particularly put out during the live show. However, he was clearly bemused after the shutters went down.

Like you say, I guess the only way he could rationalise it is that his mate was joking. He definitely was joking at the end about Faye being too pretty for him. Not sure about the beginning and middle though. If it was meant as a joke, it certainly fell very flat.

Maybe Aaron's just past caring what other people think and thinks there's no point trying to change people's minds anymore? I'd be surprised if that's the case though.

It's so frustrating we don't have live cam. I'm sure the other HM's would have asked Aaron why his friend said what he did. Surely we'll get some answers in tonights HL's but with these producers who knows?? There seems to be only 3 explanations

1. He thinks his friend was joking and that we will get the joke.
2. It's all true and he thinks it's funny his friend said it.
3. The Faye bit is not true but he can't be bothered defending himself about it as he thinks she will know the truth.

She was SO confident about him when she came out of the house after worrying for weeks about looking a DH. It really makes you wonder what he told her that we didn't see.

Anyway, I'm still trusting him until I hear differently.

PS: I could cope with anyone winning but Jay. If someone who advocates violence and has a pooh fetish wins it will make me regret watching the series

I really feel sorry for Aaron, whats it going to be like for him when he gets out. He really needs better friends, he is really bad judge of character, first Harry and now this other numpty. If I was Aaron I would never talk to him again, I dont care if Aaron is playing a game (I dont think he is) what kind of friend does that, he needs disowning immediately.

There is something dodgy going on with this "friend" Richard. Even if Aaron was playing with Faye's emotions (which I don't believe btw having seen them in the house for all these weeks) if he was a true friend he wouldn't expose him as such - he must know by what he is saying that he is doing damage to Aaron's chance of winning. This Richard bloke either has an agenda, ie he has some sort of score to settle with Aaron and really doesn't want him to win OR he is getting something out of this - money, notoreity - which also means he isn't a true friend.

If Aaron is faking it with Faye then he deserves an oscar - the chemistry between them is so real - if he really didn't care for her it would be plain to see.

I suspect that his friend was "chosen" because the producers know of his comments on facebook. It all stinks.

Unfortunately this had done irretrievable damage to Aaron's chances of winning - I think he'll get through tonight but I can't see him doing better than third now .

The friend also said that Aaron came into the house with no intention of making friends. Well we have seen how cut up Aaron has been when his friends have left - that wasn't faked.

I do believe as Aaron said in his speech that he does put on this bravado in front of people such as say his footie mates but that the Aaron we see in the house is the real Aaron stripped bare (so to speak) - vulnerable, emotional, and quite shy. He was saying how difficult he found it to fit in with people in his first week for example.

I have not lost my faith in Aaron - unfortunately judging from the main thread, people have been influenced by this oaf Richard's comments.

Aaron was obviously taken aback by them by what he said at the end of BBOTS, but i am not sure he realises the impact they are having.

IMO Richard is not a real friend of Aaron's - he may be jealous or not liking the Aaron in the house or something - but he sounds like a nasty piece of work - I think Aaron is well shot of him!!!

I'm completely and utterly confused. For various reasons. The main one being is that if he is Aarons friend, even if it were true, why say it? That is just nonsensical.

But I'm very confused by Aarons reaction, which (and I accept we only see what they let us) appears to be to sweep it under the carpet and pretty much pretend it wasn't said.

If it were me and it WASN'T true I'd be banging on the glass, shouting, going in the diary room etc and shouting from the rooftops that its a load of nonsense. Especially considering the girl I "loved" was on the outside potentially hearing all this, my first thought would be how to convince her.

Aaron's reaction was weird, whichever way you slice it. It came across more as Aaron just accepting it had been said, saying "fair cop" and getting on with things. More the actions of a "guilty" man hoping nobody noticed than anything else.

I don't know what to think anymore. I really really don't.

I want to believe Aaron has been genuine, but I can't explain all this away in any logical fashion.

I could live with him playing a game, as it is a gameshow. But if he's used a girl like Faye as part of this, told her he loved her, as part of a game, then I couldn't support him at all, it would be the end for me.

I don't care what anyone says, he can't win now. I just want him to come out and explain what on earth is going on, if of course he can.

His reaction to this just makes me worried that in his eviction interview when asked he will just turn round and say "sorry Faye you're a lovely girl, but its all been a game". And I couldn't have imagined thinking that a few days ago!

I also don't believe as some people say that this friend is saying all this in gest and has a warped sense of humour - he must know the damage his comments are doing to Aaron - if he wanted Aaron to win, as he said he does, he would not be saying such awful things .

we can assume that not all of the 37 who answered "not anymore" were actually aaron fans to begin with. so the impact of the "friend" is somewhere less than 10 percent...and that's for people who post here who paid attention to the whole train wreck. i think the whole thing was too confusing for most viewers to bother sorting out.

i'm willing to bet that won't happen.

...i've said my bit on aaron's reaction. i truly think that he'd be in meltdown if he was running some huge "game" that was actually exposed by his friend, or, alternatively, if aaron thought viewers believed that he is playing a game, playing faye, bc of what the friend said. but i'm sure there are other interpretations...

It is not Aaron way to kick up a fuss, the so call friend is someone from the footy team he manages who he often benches.. who has wrote nasty things on his face book.

Aaron doesn't need to explain himself to anyone except Faye and she doesn't seem to need it. she is confident in his affections gainedin the short time.., anything else outside the house is nowt to do with us..

I have questioned whether Faye could all be a game to Aaron and I don't think she is at all. You can see it in their faces but aside from that the thing that sticks in my mind is:

After the F and F nominations when he spoke to her and he said "Everything I said to you was real. When I said I was falling in love with you that was all true" - that is what makes me think he is real. If not then I would think he was the absolute lowest of the low. If he had been a bit ambiguous and never fully committing like John James last year you could almost excuse it but he has categorically laid it on the line that he really likes her and wants a relationship.

I 99% am sure he is genuine about it...as I say - if it is all a game than wow! He is a fool.

Thing is look at his reaction to this compared to the friends and family nominations.

Then he was visibly shaken, upset and worked almost immediately to deny the allegations and was miserable for a few days.

This time within 5 minutes of his "best friend" saying the same things he was smiling and laughing.

There is something we're missing here. I honestly can't put a rational explanation to it.

since the friend was laughing when he said it, and did it all in that OTT way, you don't think aaron believes that we heard it as joking? like saying "faye is too pretty for him" doesn't sound like a serious accusation, you know?

...i'm not asking you to believe it. i'm just curious if you don't see that as possible.

Penultimate Polling Update

The polls seem pretty settled now. Aaron holding firm on TiBB* at 59.6%, that's 2137 of the 3585 votes counted, with negative numbers of 29.8%, which is 826 of the 2767 votes counted. The puts his negative numbers at exactly 50%, fingers crossed it stays around this point for the next 36hrs.

The TiBB head to head poll still looks pretty positive for Aaron. It's the probably the best gage of the anti Aaron vote we have as there's no way to split the vote.
