Monday Morning Poll Update

The polls have started to settle now with them receiving 1/3-1/2 of the votes I'd expect them to this week. The regular polls are looking pretty much how I'd expect for Aaron at this point, his numbers on TiBB* currently stand at 62.5% to win with 23.9% unfavourables. Making his negatives only 38.42% of his positive ratings, I believe keeping this number under 50%, is crucial for him to go on and win the whole thing. So, so far so good I am surprised by Louise's numbers, she is out polling Jay here and within 0.7% on TiBB.

Total Big Brother is a bit of an unknown, as their polling has been sporadic and is therefore hard to weigh. I'm a tad suspicious of their numbers and was a bit reluctant to use them because their sample size seems at odds with the sites membership and traffic numbers. I've included it below and you can make up your own mind. Would people rather I didn't include their numbers in the averages?

Honestly what planet do people live on to think spending £1000 on presents for two people you've known two months, and lived with and tolerated is ok?

I mean if it'd been a present for Faye, I might have said "well he's not done himself many favours there". Refusing to spend it for someone you love, even though the amount was silly, well that might've looked a little bad...

But Tom and Alex? FFS.

And Jay and Louise are so blatant.

Secondly notice that Faye follows three people on twitter so far, Jamie East, Maisy and BBUK, so not her sister straight away then?

I suspect as its kind of an "official BB account" set up by them she won't say much controversial on there. And also suspect she will now keep her thoughts about Aaron private either way!

I think it's useful to see all the figures.

One of the things I think we need to factor in is likely voting intensity. On a poll everyone has one vote. In reality people have a choice whether to cast up to 500 votes (or more).

One thing about the DS poll is that there are a lot of members on here who do not normally vote as a matter of principle. So the high poll results here might not be reflected in the final outcome.

I don't know whether that's the case on TIBB, but it might explain why the TIBB polls are more accurate.

This has definitely been a set up by BB, and I suspect you may be right and the edit will show all 3 of them in a bad light to some extent. For me that's a least preferable to it just being a negative edit for Aaron.

I don't think there's any way he's coming out of this looking great because of the sulk during the party. My main concern though, is that they show that Jay and Lou sneaked off to get the presents without telling him. Of course it's then going to make him feel awful when the presents are suddenly produced and he knew nothing about it!

I notice that in one of the clips even Jay acknowledged that he could understand Aaron's point.

I totally agree with you on intensity or enthusiasm. The week Harry was evicted he was sitting higher in the polls than both Faye and Jay but wherever I looked I couldn't see much enthusiasm from his supporters, whereas Jay's were out in force.

I think Aaron's supporters seem a pretty enthusiastic bunch but it's really important that we vote as early and often as we can. Jay's friends and family have been running a really strong organisation since he first went into the house and none of the other housemates have come anywhere near close to it. So we need to do all we can to get Aaron over the line.

DS polls have several little peccadilloes in them that effect their reliability, one certainly being not everyone who votes in them votes on the show. I'd assume that's similar of all of the polls to a greater of lesser degree. Each site has it's own characteristic and that's why I weigh the polls for reliability and use TiBB as my most reliable. I was cautious about TBB's polling for similar reason as they haven't had regular polling it's hard to weigh their validity.

I hope nobody minds but I tweeted the link Aarons Zingers to Faye & Maisey. I thought they both might enjoy reading it. I know I find it highly amusing and it makes me smile every single time.

Never thought I'd say this, but I am thankful that Tom is still in the house. We all know that Tom fancies the pants off Aaron, but he seems to be the only one giving him the time of day at the moment and I'm so grateful for that. In the unlikely event that Aaron is evicted before Tom any remaining votes I have will go his way.

On that note I'm off to do some work today.

Can someone tell me what Jay did last night with the money? He switched his with Aaron's or something? Did Aaron switch them back?

Yeah, Jay took his name out and put it on top of the board and put Aaron's next to the £15,000. Aaron saw it and just put his name back in the right place,

I also noticed that last night.Jem is hanging around with Anton Faye seems to be staying clear of her.They are not close at all.I do think it is her Mum she needs on side more regards Aaron.Jem can sod off.

I was about to say the same thing. She seems quite clued up already and nothing they've thrown at her has fazed her - I doubt whether OKTV will be able to either.

Remember to keep the votes coming in people, the lord needs them more then ever before.

Aaron seems to have gone into meltdown since Faye left - she was his rock in the house. if he was such a big game player as BBOTS is always trying to imply he wouldn't be sitting around on house being glum and depressed all the time - I think he is the most honest housemate left in the house - big up to him for saying he wouldn't spend £500 on a birthday present - I agree that it is a ludicrous amount to spend - if he wanted to look popular on the outside he would have agreed to it - interesting that Louise and Jay didn't tell him that they'd changed their minds and decided to spend the money on presents - it could only make Aaron look bad - not surprised he was annoyed. Aaron sticks by his principles and doesn't care what people think of him as a result - that's what I like about him.

I am worried about him but what's this about a diary room visit and him coming out of the room looking happier - he seems to have perked up and Tom has been talking with him about Faye. I'd like to know what was said in the diary room

Awful edit last night for him. I think he didn't walk to talk about Faye in the diary room because it was too upsetting for him but of course BB is trying to spin it to make him look uncaring .

I agree, if Iam upset about something or someone I get very emotional if someone keeps bringing it up and upset....I think he is worried about weather Faye is going to be waiting for him when he comes out.

What an awful and completely falsified article. It was Jay's dare to kiss the person on his right and that was Aaron and I could see Aaron was extremely reluctant and wasn't enjoying it at all - the way they spin things - what a hatchet job they are doing on Aaron How on earth can these people say they are not trying to bring down Aaron !!
