We may have to agree to disagree here as I have just watched it again http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode...eek_6_Results/ and I saw and heard no waffling and he thanked Lulu and others very nicely, a real gentleman (imho).

I think Lulu's a cracker for a hundred and two. I bet she was a real goer in the roaring twenties with Bonnie & Clyde.

Didn't she used to date Benjamin Disraeli back in the day?

Is that why she didn't get to Charleston ... complaints of ringerism?

I wouldn't be so sure. This is going back a good few years. I stayed at a hotel that Lulu had stayed in and had checked out the day before. I got talking to a member of staff that told me that a colleague had got the sack because of Lulu. All she did was asked for an autograph. Lulu complained about the girl costing her her job.

This may be true, it may not. I can't imagine why a person would make up a story about a minor celeb past her career prime by a few decades doing such a thing just to have something to say to a random guest. Why say Lulu and not someone more current and famous at the time?

I have heard stories that she can be dificult to work with professionally which again adds a possible credence to what aledgedly happened at that hotel.

A woman in her seventies !!!! thats made me laugh almost hysterically......

She looked completely stunned to be voted out....she thought Audley was a goner (mind you didnt we all including Audley) ....then promptly went on to ignore Brendanc completely during the last dance....I think that was the problem from the start.

I'm not surprised she went over Audley. He is very likeable, I can't quite put my finger on it with Lulu.

This is the problem with these older celebs. They need some real young guns in...maybe Sinitta.

At what stage did he mention her? Early on? In the middle? Or at the very end?
