Its a shame that in one of Scotland's most important days of the year Guys Fawks night the majority of Scotland was at Bonfire parties and therefore never got a chance to save Scotland's Treasure

Shame on you BBC for putting SCD on in a day when you know a whole country wont be in to vote

I think this is a disgrace and demand a re-count

They new that Lulu supporters would be out last night yet still carried on with the show regardless

Gutted

If Scotland supported her that much they'd have made an effort to keep her in. No sympathy from me I'm afraid, that's the way the Scottish shortbread crumbles.

You'd take any excuse to say it was unfair... if she was eliminated on National Ice Cream Day, you'd say it was a fix because Lulu sounds like the name of an ice cream.

So do England not have Bonfire parties then

Quite clearly, the BBC should rearrange their entire schedule to ensure that you can still have a social life.

Oh I thought that was a national "I Scream" holiday, because that's what happens every time I see her on my tv screen.

How wrong could I be? Well as wrong as Tom, seeing as Guy Fawkes night is not a Scottish holiday, but an English one where the Protestants defeated a Catholic plot in the Houses of Parliament!

I agree. Shame on the Scottish Parliament not moving Guy Fawkes night especially for Lulu.

I hope you're happy now Mr Salmond.

Would you have been happier if she'd been voted out last week?

I disagree, she shouldn't have been working on it anyway.

I would hardly call Guy Fawkes night one of Scotland's most important days though I can imagine SNP members celebrating an attempt to blow up the "English" Pariament, many others in Scotland would much prefer to see the Edinburgh Parliament blown up but the building was so badly designed and built that it will probably fall down of its own accord given time.

Its mainly seen as an excuse to let off fireworks, as in England. Perhaps also celebrated a bit more enthusiastically by some sectarian groups.

Mmm ... I've heard some excuses before but claiming it's only the Scots that go out on Bonfire Night and the rest of the UK don't has to rank as the funniest! Thanks for the laugh!!

Surely the fact that's she's been voted out is worth a bank holiday in itself?

Again I missed the results show, who was the other couple in the last 2?

I think it was obvious from the begining of yesterdays show that Lula knew she would be in the frame, hence why she kissed Craig and then Bruce how many times? Then she even sang! She came across as having a complex bigtime and she should have gone the other week instead of Rory.

Woah!! How come I am Scottish and no one told me Bonfire night was a Scottish holiday?

I actually stayed in last night when I really should have been out celebrating this special Scottish day.....and I suppose I really should have voted for Lulu with both of us being Scottish and it being a Scottish holiday after all!! Shame on me.....

I'm actually more annoyed though that someone actually nicked my wheelie bin last night probably to chuck on a bonfire, than at Bloody Lulu being voted off!

So it really is "awa' tae gang awa'"?

Tut, tut, tut I say.

Used to be the milk bottles they put the sparklers in - that must have been some sparkler!

Oh, I think your wheelie bin is a much bigger loss. I'll worry and have nightmares through the night about your poor, lonely wheelie bin, alone and frightened.

Lulu - couldn't be happier knowing that we don't have to watch her staggering round the dancefloor like a drunk amnesiac gatecrasher at a wedding.

Its well known that the Scots all celebrate Guy Fawks night as second only to the great Rabbie Burns night. We take it very serous as we know what it was about

The rest of the UK tends to just take it as an excuse to eat loads of burgers off made from the bonfire and barbecues

This is why the Lulu fans couldn't get to the phone

Also I know of many fans who did not realsie the voting was only going to be on for 20 mins last night. The Glasgow Branch of the Lulu fan club was at the Glasgow Green fireworks party and wasnt aware that the voting was finishing early last night

This is not on BBC.Very unfair
