She has been known to order a hairdressing junior to go to the other side of London to get her "special Chutney" because she couldn't possibly eat a cheese sandwich with it. She throws tantrums and has the hugest ego and was always bragging. Nasty piece of work. Tom and Terry you are welcome to her.”

Blimey! How terrible. Like being sent down the saltmines.

I am amazed that you are all rushing in to support Brendan. The man has been a nightmare since I first watched his antics in 2005. For example lifting his partner illegally rather than taking the trouble to teach her.

When Lulu danced on her own after being eliminated she was showing us how little the couple had bonded. That was the fault of Brendan whose ego appears to be enormous.

I thought her behaviour was dreadful! Nobody's ever gone off and danced on their own and nor should they. She just wanted everyone to be looking at her, she seemed to be saying I can really dance, just not the choreographed stuff. Very rude!

No, she was showing us how rude she is. Brendan can't bond with someone if they don't bond with him - it's a two-way process. Like the saying goes, it takes two to tango. And that two isn't Lulu and her ego.

I think you misunderstand. Brendan has no need of 'support' and that isn't what this thread is all about. It's about Lulu's remarkable public display of downright rudeness.

For once I will side with the Brendan fans, he has changed so much lately. I truly believe that Lulu was the one with the attitude this year. Brendan is popular amongst the 'pros' and has turned over a new leaf. I could not believe how rude Lulu was on their final dance. It is never going to be all sweetness and light with every partnership, but the celebs know this before they take the job. So why is it the the 'pros' get the aggro all the time as being the bad ones. There are alot of 'celebs' out there who think they are too good to take second place to a meer dancer. Give Brendan a break for once, Lulu is the one with the attitude.

Brendan should have been paired with Holly, in my opinion.

That is her own fault because like Cilla she doesn't seem to get a sentance out without talking about the Beatles et al.and her constant Weeee eeee eeeeeelllllllll..........screech.

I didn't see their final dance or whatever's being talked about in this thread, but I thought Brendan looked pretty miserable and frosty when he and Lulu appeared on ITT this week.

She must be really bad; Brendan, despite his temper with the judges, seems to be one of the most generous pros (always thanking the backstage crew, complimenting other dancers' routines, etc.)

I listened to the comments by Brendan tonight SCD allegedly towards Lulu and must have been oblivious to their tempestuous relationship at the time.
I chased it up and read the comments on these pages and was so glad that others have finally found LULu so self serving.
It has always amazed me how anyone could rate her, she only sang a short career and has done nothing since of note. Every time she is interviewed she name drops Ringo and a host of other 60s names as if that is all she has to cement her fame with.
Now it seems everyone has found her out...

Lulu has only ever been interested in one person - LULU. She thinks she is still a big star. She even managed to fall out with her mentor (Matian) who gave her a lifetime of devotion. Lulu - go away.

Personally I think it is unfair of Brendan to keep dragging this up when Lulu is not able to defend herself.

Brendan is far from perfect himself

Typical of the man, very unfair indeed, a cheap shot at Lulu that backfired and once again exposed his shallowness, also not very nice dragging poor Zoe onto the 'It Takes Two' studio floor, she looked mortified by being handled in that way.

Actually Zoe threw herself on top of Brendan - it was just a bit of fun.

As for Lulu, Brendan has never mentioned her name since they were eliminated - but I suppose his silence speaks volumes and he did say once he enjoyed working with Holly and Anita last year and left Lulu out.
However, he was perfectly fine with Lulu and put up with everything over the months, including her rude behaviour when they were first paired together, her unwillingness to work and her arrogance towards him. They actually got on well and she said he was a lovely guy. She was just annoyed they got eliminated and seemed to blame him for her inability to dance.
However, I wouldn't be surprised if her obnoxious and incredibly rude behaviour at their elimination and her slagging him off in the press to promote her book, or whatever it was, was the final straw. After the first time (when she found they would be on ITT together that evening), she said she was misquoted - but then she started up again. It didn't get her far though, as I haven't heard from her since.

I have been made aware that Zoe does have a history of this sort of thing even though she is married, but on 'It Takes Two'
she was obviously dragged down onto the studio floor, she did not 'throw' herself on top of anyone.

I was appalled by Lulu's behaviour. I have always been a bit of a fan but I was shocked at how awful she was to Brendan. She as the celeb knew that Brendan could not say anything back to her, just had to smile and pretend they had a good relationship. I think she is deluded, she thinks she is still 18 but she could not remember half of her dance routine. So, for the first time in her life (perhaps?) she was not good at something and was actually criticised instead of half the BBC telling her how marvelous and wonderful she is. Glad Brendan (whom I really like) is happy with Victoria and he is getting his views across.......we got the message, Lulu was a bitch by the sound of things and he hated being her professional partner.

To be fair to Brendan, he is not the first person to have problems with Lulu. Quite honestly, most of us just have the camera-on personality and we do not know what she is really like. I gathered from her autobiography that Lulu is very self involved, even with her own child and husband. I was amazed she did not seem to notice how she was coming across in her book!! I have also heard rumours over the years from people who have worked with her in the past. Sadly, I think she finds aging very difficult, hence the ridiculous clothes, ponytail hairstyle at 63, constant dieting etc and the constant need to be young. It is a talent to learn how to age gracefully!!

Oh dear, rather unfair. I think she actually fell on Brendan and it was just a bit of fun. She said "CPR is needed" and they both laughed. It was just a bit of fun, simples!!

Oh my goodness, Zoe did not 'fall' and Zoe did not 'throw herself' to the floor.

Zoe would not of got booked for diving because she was clearly dragged to the floor by another.

Well I'm glad to be untalented then! I don't particularly like Lulu (although why everyone is banging on about her a year down the line is beyond me), but what's wrong with dressing younger than your age if you can get away with it? I certainly do and can. In my experience, women of my age (50's) can look great in short skirts, etc. Those who criticise are just jealous, not because they wouldn't look as good themselves, but simply because they don't want to try. Which is fine, but don't bitch about others who do. I'm happy to be growing old DISgracefully thanks!

I remember thats what Julian said to Bet and why not, Lulu always looks fabulous in a short skirt as I bet you do.

I saw it differently. Anyway, what has being married got to do with it - she and Brendan are clearly good friends and are comfortable with one another. I can imagine that Zoe's husband is not so insecure that trying to bring a bit of fun into the show would cause any problems to their relationship and cause a jealous rage. Those days are thankfully over.
Do you think that Victoria's fiance will have problems that she picked Brendan up. I doubt it very much, he is also secure in their relationship - he, Brendan and Zoe have been joking about the Rumba and the physical intimacy it demands.
