That woman was terrible!

Hopefully that is the last we ever see of her!

She at least gave the impression she knew many aspects of dance and in particular characterisation of dance which puts her ahead of the other non-pro female

Errm, so are you saying she was a better judge than Alesha?

No, not from where I was sitting.

She was gracious, she was complimentary, she was empathetic. Her judging ability far lower than Alesha's - of course, less practice.

Why the thump did the BBC not do the obvious and put in one of our former pro dancers as guest judge?? There were plenty of suggestions on the forums.

I liked her in the end. She was quite funny, describing Harry as "nice and tight" when she must have known we were all looking at his arse on the super slo-mo.

Because the first rule when choosing a stand-in is to not pick somebody who is going to do a better job than you - and in Len's case that would include ALL of the professional dancers.

Yes, she was obviously reading from the Arlene Philips Book of Spontaneous One-liners.

Yes, if Len wanted a big welcome with open arms then JG was an inspired choice because she was frankly MANURE!

Me too. I did wonder if they had only given her one paddle.

Thank god for fast forward.

Agree she was not good, and cant even be discreet in reading cue cards, about people clearly she has no idea who she is talking about

Terrible

Ive always liked Len and for all those who knock him, hopefully will realise how good he is as a Judge and what he brings to the show

Even if Jennifer Grey was terrible (her bellowing 8 is the stuff nightmares are made off) that doesn't make Len a better judge. He still are ennerving man who threatens Craig more frequently with a gay bashing for having an opinion then Bono can remind us that there children dying in Africa.
Some of his remarks are rude: “SO THAT WAS WORSE THAN ANDREW CASTLE WAS IT? or "Turn up, keep up shut up" to Brendan (James deserved that speech)
And he is worse in the overmarking stakes then Bruno and Alesha, who uses a higher range of scores and who at least mark consistently over and not go on people "But i don't even bother about it about the mistakes." and on the other hand goes fully mad about rules.

i don't think he is a good judge. He is petty at times & doesn't mark fairly plus he is very rude to Craig.
His ego has became too big & he thinks the show is all about him & it isn't!

I hope he's in a better mood than he has been most of the time. I think they should move him to Alesha's chair to spare us his glaring at Craig when he gives a low score.

Alesha's the worst for inconsistent marking. She gave Jason a 10 for a routine that had an error in but then only gave Holly an 8 this week for a great performance with an injured partner! That's inconsistent.

I think Jennifer was infinitely better than Alesha's first time judging when she seemed to spend most of the time telling a celeb they looked gorgeous or were a cute partnership. When Jennifer actually spoke spontaneously she did make the odd useful comment about the dance. It was a shame that the scripted comments were delivered so woodenly. And what was the 'eight' voice all abouteek::

Last night was the first time though I realised how much Alesha has improved in her confidence and comments since her first series

I'll be pleased to see Len back next week.
I'm not going to say anything horrible about jennifer Grey, she stood in for Len after all and wasn't head judge, just gave comments. I like her but she is no judge.
Still it showed how good Len is.

I agree ! I'm also one of the people who want Len to cheer up and not be awful to Craig, ( who I actually think is brilliant.) Len seems to have 'off' weeks. But I do like him, because he can be very funny, and I think he's a fair judge. Just stop glowering at Craig Len, and be happy.

I like Len but he should not be pulling his face and sniping at Criaig's comments all the time.
