Has anyone heard anything about the tour for next year yet?

I have just checked emails and found I bought my tickets on Friday 5th November last year. I hope they are going to do a tour, it has always been a great show

The last few years I have bought them in the October half-term holiday and now we're a few weeks after that and no sign of them being released! Very odd - maybe there won't be a tour next year

There have already been discussions about this in other topics not very long ago! But anyway, I will repeat what I've said elsewhere... I saw a message on Torvill & Dean's official Twitter page that tour dates will be announced soon, so be patient and I'm sure there will be some good news!

The Unknown One - you just beat me to it!

I couldn't believe when I saw some dates announced already, but nothing on DS - especially after so much moaning and questions about when the tickets go on sale etc etc. At least now we have dates though!

Looking more closely at the tour dates, for me they really suck. I was hoping to do a couple of shows - probably Sheffiled and Manchester - but that's not going to be easy now as neither are on weekends, and there are no matinee shows at either venue!

I guess the changes to the order of the venues they visit on tour will be great for some people, but I admit I'm a bit gutted. Also, only 2 shows at London, both on a Tuesday? Who came up with that!?

24-11-2011
Waiting to book them at 9.00 am! I am a bit gutted there are no matinee perfomances in Manchester but Liverpool is nearer for me anyway so I will be able to go to Liverpool on a week night.

grrrr ticketzone just tells you to phone back later, it doesn't even put you in a queue.
The link you get given in the e-mail just takes you to another link that says service unavailable.

I thought it was just me that was having problems, it's so annoying. Can't believe the link doesn't work.

Does anyone know if they hold back any of the best seats (the front few rows) for when they go on sale to everyone tomorrow?

Keep doing re-dial - I am in a queue now although where in the queue is anyone's guss as it says you position is.....then cuts into another recording.

I am supposed to be in work

Unfortunately I can't keep phoning as I'm overseas at the mo, with those 0844 numbers I wouldn't like to come home to my phone bill!

I'll keep trying the link, fingers crossed!!

Pinkstar - I managed to get rinkside last year even though I booked about 2 days after release as I had been on hoiday and missed the release date so there is hope.

I don't know what to do, I am reluctant to hang up now I am in a queue but I was due in work at 9.00

Well after a half an hour wait on the phone I finally got through to Ticket Factory for the NIA and was told I could only get Block 10, Row E!!!

Seriously?? Half an hour in!!

I'm going to wait and see what I can get on the website because i'm not convinced that's right.

I hung up becuase the website seemed to be working, was halfway through booking rinkside and the site crashed.
I will have to go to work or I will be sacked
PinkStar80

Oh no, can't believe it crashed on you

I managed to get Block 5D? for Newcastle, it says row B so I'm assuming it's second row.

Hope you don't get sacked

I wonder if they only have a certain amount of tickets so therefore you probably will be better on the website, let us know how you get on

Sadly website no better, I could get Rinkside B but right up in the corner behind the judges where you see sod all. I think they have only released a certain number on the pre-release. Now i'm torn do I book or hope they release more tomorrow? I have found this in previous years that they periodically release better seats

I know what you're saying, I was planning on leaving it until tomorrow if I hadn't of got the ones I did. Disappointed in the link/website - it didn't work til after 9.30!

Got my tickets for Saturday Newcastle matinee

Block 106 row C
TraceyUK
24-11-2011
Got pretty much what I wanted in the end, only booked 2 sets for now as tour clashes with another tour and dont have all the venues/dates for that yet.

Got one set of rinkside row A and one set of lower tier row D.

Good evening!
I didn't get sacked - and I managed to go online again at lunchtime and got rinkside row B in Liverpool for the matinee on ]
2nd May.
We were rinkside row B last year and it was great because we were the end two seats and I managed to get lots of good photos and shook hands with Vanilla Ice
However, it depends if someone 6 ft tall is sitting in front of us, as the rinkside aren't tiered.

I think you are right about them releasing others periodically and I bet there are rinkside row A available tomorrow morning.
As I said earlier, I missed pre- release last year and didn't book until 2 days later and I still got rinkside row B.

That's fab - on getting your tickets and of course not getting sacked!

I was the same last year, row B rinkside but at Sheffield. Hopefully the seats will be just as good in Newcastle.

I am disappointed about the dates available this year for people in the north. Manchester Liverpool and Sheffield all midweek shows. what about the people who have to go to work? We will probably be missing the show this year for the first time ever
